Introduction
Sustainable tourism brings many opportunities in the business as it supports in bringing more customers
towards the hospitality industry and promotes tourism. Today, in the competitive environment tourism is
increasing at greater scale and due to this the concept of sustainable tourism has been enhanced. In the
present scenario, the case study of Qatar will be discussed with including the major topics such as
stakeholder’s benefits for sustainable tourism along with public private partnership benefits and
limitations. The report will also show different approaches to tourism planning and development and
after that understanding on planning for sustainable tourism needs will be highlighted. Finally, the
research will be done on current issues in Qatar in relation to tourism development together with
covering various impacts of developed and emerging destination.

There are several external factors like political, social, environmental, economic and cultural aspects that
are to be included in planning for the Qatar development. The different levels that are presented in any
country are international, national, sub regional and regional and in this context, the features are
presented for planning development is as follows:-
International level: At this stage, international community’s conduct the work to increase the nation
tourism across the world. Their main objective is to raise the diversification and offer employment
chances for anyone interested in joining the services of the tourism sector (Vellas, 2016). In addition,
working overseas in concern with planning of tourism and expansion brings more trust and offers the
