1. Introduction
1.1 Topic area investigated
The topic area is focused on development of mobile application of wildlife of Qatar.
The main aim of this research study is assisting the users for learning about the wildlife

participants, 53.2% of them are female and 46.8% of them are male. Most of them are
between age group of 31-45 years. From collected data, it was analyzed that there are around
40.4% of respondents are neither agree nor disagree that mobile application helps to reduce
illegal activities of the wildlife conservation. Around 48.9% of participants responded that
technology can seek in conservation motivation so that there is awareness of animal
protection. According to 38.3% of the respondents, they were agreed that mobile app helpful
in tracking last seen date of the animals and adding images of the animals on the habitat. In
order to aware people about animal safety and wildlife protection, 55.3% of the respondents
are strongly agree that education as well as public awareness is required to get them
knowledge on biodiversity. Around 50.4% of the respondents used social media for getting
awareness of conservation. People are using Facebook, Twitter to get aware of wildlife
disaster and wildlife protection actions.
4.3 Significant findings from data
It was found that most of people used mobile application for tracking location of

Through development of mobile application, the researcher found that there is better

5. Discussion
5.1 Major findings regard to the research
Based on the research study, Smartphone (iOS/Android) platform is mostly used by
users to get information on wildlife animals in Qatar wild forest. Technology helps to build
interest of people in the environment education activities as well as conservation campaigns.
There is tracking of wildlife animals for reducing illegal activities of wildlife conservation.
Social media campaigns helped in people, users and society awareness about wildlife
conservation.
5.2 Findings related to other found in past
From past findings, it was seen that mobile application helped in tracking wildlife
movements so that there is lessen of deaths of animals. Losses of diversity lead to
disappearance of large mammals. The environmental department of Qatar is established with
legal as well as administrative mechanism to implement the biodiversity strategy of Qatar
state.
5.3 Explanation of results
Through development of mobile application, the researcher found that there is better
understanding movement pattern of wildlife animals through uploaded photos and images of
animals. The proposed mobile application has social media accounts so that they can raise

awareness of violation against the animal habitats. The mobile application can track the
animals 24*7, therefore the users can get data on each single movements of the animals.
6. Conclusion
6.1 Restate the research questions
i. What are the functionalities of the developed mobile app for wildlife conservation
in Qatar?
ii. What are the key advantages of the mobile app to provide environmental and
wildlife protection in Qatar?
iii. How is social media useful to raise awareness towards natural animal habitat
violation?
6.2 Showing results answer questions
The functions of mobile application are track recent movements of the animals, view
the information of the wildlife animals present in specific area, track last seen date of the
animals and add images of the animals on the habitat.
The key advantages are tracking movement, upload of photos, animal visualization
and conservation education.
Social media helps public to aware of various program those are helpful to protect
environment in addition to wildlife protection. The photos uploaded in the Facebook, Twitter
helps to capture moments of moving animals.
6.3 Contribution made towards research work
Idea to conduct this research work will help users to get data on wildlife animal’s
movements. Technology helps to motivate the conservation awareness on wildlife animals.
From this study, there is learning on movements and illegal activities occurred in wild of
