Homework Assignment
AI Summary
This assignment presents a comprehensive qualitative research proposal focused on evaluating the role of poor awareness towards cancer risk components among the Australian public. The proposal begins by formulating a research question and associated interview questions designed to explore public perceptions of cancer risk. It includes a brief literature review, identifying knowledge gaps and summarizing key methodological elements, specifically grounded theory and interview methods, to guide the study. The proposal outlines a sampling strategy that involves interviewing health experts to gather comprehensive information. The student reflects on their motivation for undertaking the research, highlighting the importance of understanding cancer risk factors and contributing to public health knowledge. could be affected by the Australian people?
ï‚· What do you understand by certain approaches that are effective in improving cancer
awareness among people?
Step 2:
Brief literature review
The national-level burden is increased largely caused by a higher number of aging
person as well as well as increasing in cancer-causing individuals attitudes. With respect to
the examination of Cancer information, it is illustrated that the Cancer problem is enhanced
day by day at the international level. With respect to the examination, it is illustrated that
cancer is increased by 2.1% than in the previous years (Formosa, Jenner, Nguyen-Thi,
Stephens, Wilson, & Ariyawardana, 2015). It could be complicated for the person to maintain
a healthy environment. On behalf of the previous record, it is predicted that the cancer
percentage will be increased by 75% in the future. It is difficult for health preventer to
prevent Cancer from Australia. In the recent period, it is addressed that cancer is being a
primary cause of death at the global level (Liu, Wang, Yu, Ma, Zhang, Gao, & Yu, 2014).
The data of Cancer has been increased that is a major issue for health offers. In
Australia, 8 million people have been died caused by Cancer. 1 in 3 men while 1 in 4 women
has been suffered from Australia. It is also founded that prevention is an effective way of
reducing the data of Cancer (Hooper, Anderson, Birch, Forster, Rosenberg, Bauld, & Vohra,
2017). Cancer has been declined one third by considering many acts that are associated with
adequate food, avoidable nutrition, physical activity, and healthy weight of the body.
Tobacco is another imperative factor that is the cause of Cancer among individuals. Further,

20% of men and 50% of women have been affected by cancer death caused by Tobacco
consumption. From the data of world health company, it is addressed that 7 to 41% of cancer
is affected caused by obesity and overweight. In contrast to this, it is addressed that
insufficient physical activity can be a major cause of Cancer. It increases the data from 9 to
19% of cancer cases in Australia (Hooper, Anderson, Birch, Forster, Rosenberg, Bauld, &
Vohra, 2017).
It is illustrated that lifestyle, as well as diet, have been enhancing cancer 90%–95% of
among Australian. It is predicted that young people have been habitual of smoking that
affected the health of people. Higher-income people have been suffered from some wrong
addiction named as alcoholic and foody. It could create cancer among Australian people.
With respect to the examination of gathered information from WCRF (World Cancer
Research Fund), it is addressed that mortician, physical act, food, and body composition has
also been the cause of cancer among people (Qadirb & Ghalia, 2018).
From the evaluation, it is founded that if the general public has been aware of factors that
could be a major cause of cancer then they would be able to prevent the issue of Cancer from
the particular area of people. It is suggested that if the country government could conduct a
marketing campaign in a particular area then the country would be able to prevent the
diseases of Cancer effectively. It is illustrated that public prevention risk component could
eliminate the cancer risk as well as facilitates to make a reliable decision towards the Cancer.
The campaign is an effective way in easily improving the existing beliefs of people to get
higher advantages in preventing Cancer (Al-Azri, Al-Rasbi, Al-Hinai, Davidson, & Al-
Maniri, 2014).

Knowledge gap
This study relies on a qualitative tool which enables to get theoretical information as it
can be quite less trustworthy than the quantitative research. The investigator will not use the
quantitative tool which could eliminate the possibility of getting reliable information about
study matter.
A summary of the key elements of your chosen methodology
For performing this research, the grounded approach will be used by the investigator
as it will aid to get the data via existing sources. This method will also allow the investigator
to develop theory towards the research study. This approach can enable to research scholar to
consider the inductive approach to conduct this study and make a decision about the concern.
This tool will also emphasize on leading the investigator to identify adequate guidelines to
perform the study and reach a valid and reliable outcome. Furthermore, it also provides the
valid way to the research scholar that enable to control the inquiry as well as meet the
research task (Al-Azri, Al-Rasbi, Al-Hinai, Davidson, & Al-Maniri, 2014).
Interview methods
The sampling is a way of selecting the samples size form the specified population to
conduct the study. The researcher has made qualitative questions due to collecting the
theoretical information in the context of the matter (Liu, Wang, Yu, Ma, Zhang, Gao, & Yu,
2014). Cork Cancer Research Centre, Cancer Society, and Breakthrough Cancer Research
will be chosen by the researcher to conduct a study and collect feasible information. The
researcher will take the prior permission of the people who will be a part of the study.

Further, health care experts can enable to the research candidates to share the personal
experience of them towards the role of poor awareness of people about risk component that
enhances the probability of Cancer (Formosa, Jenner, Nguyen-Thi, Stephens, Wilson, &
Ariyawardana, 2015).
A personal reflection on your motivation for exploring this research question
In this study, I gained my knowledge about research questions development that could
be an essential part of the study. It could provide an effective path to the researcher to
complete their study in one direction and meet the study in the favor of the research matter
(Al-Azri, Al-Maskari, Al-Matroushi, Al-Awisi, Davidson, Panchatcharam, & Al-Maniri,
2016). This is the imperative and interesting concept that enables to increase the
understanding about the risk factor that could be the cause of the Cancer among Australian
people (Hvidberg, Pedersen, Wulff, & Vedsted, 2014). The research question supported to
me understand many things that could be imperative to prevent Cancer. From the best
understanding of this topic, I would enable to contribute my best in preventing the Cancer. It
will also be imperative to get the information in the context of the research issue. I gained my
understanding of different approaches that could be effective in preventing the Cancer from
Australia (Joshi, Dutta, Chaturvedi, & Nair, 2014).
This research topic is imperative for me as it develops the curiosity of mine towards
the research issue, which will lead get a favourable result. It is illustrated that there are
different components which might be entailed by me to element ethical matter form the study
which will be performed in the future period (Shankar, Rath, Roy, Malik, Bhandari, Kishor,
& Singh, 2015). At the time of making the research question, I considered one thing is that
confidentially of data, less plagiarized information, and ethical concern. I was excited to do
the research on the role of poor awareness of people towards the different risk factors that
could be the cause of Cancer among people. It will also facilitate to improve my existing

knowledge about Cancer data. I also gained my understanding of the norms of ethics that will
be considered in the study to make a suitable research outcome. I also analyzed that the
responses of research participants could enable to deeply evaluate the concern in an effective
manner (Ryan, Cushen, Schellekens, Bhuachalla, Burns, Kenny, & Power, 2015).
