Interviewer: Hello, I am pleased to meet you! And thank you for taking the time to meet with
me today.
Interviewee: Hi, it is nice to meet you, and I am happy for any cooperation.
Interviewer: I was excited when you told me we could meet.
Interviewee: Nice to hear that.
Interviewer: This meeting is being done at London library at 9:00 12-03-2020. The purpose for
this meeting is a part of academic dissertation process. Actually, the dissertation is about social
media, which social media platform people use, what exactly do they use if for, the purpose of
using social media and more. I have here some questions. So, Can I start?
Interviewee: Yes, go ahead.
Interviewer: Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
Interviewee: I am Mrs. A. I work as surgeon and Mom of 4 children.
Interviewer: Which social media platforms do you use?
Interviewee: WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Tweeter.
Interviewer: Could you rank them in terms of the amount of time you spend on each of them?
Interviewee: I always use WhatsApp for 2 hours daily, Snapchat for 2 hours daily, and Tweeter
30-40 minutes daily.
Interviewer: Could you talk about how you use each of them? (Depending on the time available,
select one or two of the platforms).

Interviewee: For WhatsApp, I use it for my business, I manage my work tasks through.
Snapchat, I use it to contact my family and friends. Tweeter, every morning I try to peruse the
highlight news.
Interviewer: Who do you contacts on this platform? Do you set privacy settings to differentiate
different groups of people?
Interviewee: for WhatsApp my family, friend and my work’s colleagues. for snap Chat my
friends and family as well as some of the celebrities. Lastly, for Twitter, some official news
accounts.
