Comparison between two methodological approaches of research

obesity and increasing obesity among people. The two-research report needs to be compared in
this essay that includes the description of the research topic that is increasing in obesity. One
research is based on the qualitative study and the other one is based on the quantitative study
(Power and Grendon, 2015). Research methods are used to find valid and accurate results based
on the topic. The methods include different procedures and process that give different
observations related to the specific topic. The research study is of two types which include
qualitative study and quantitative study.
The research methods mainly include qualitative study and quantitative study. The qualitative
research is multimethod in focus, it involves the interpretive, naturalistic approach related to its
subject. Quantitative data relates to the information about the quantities and numbers whereas
qualitative data is descriptive. In a qualitative study, the data has been collected by observation
and interviews (De Ona and de Ona, 2015). In a quantitative study, data are collected by

For this purpose, the knowledge of changes in lifestyle is highly required that defines the overall
process of the research topic. The findings of this qualitative study help the patients in weight
loss (Psarou and Brown, 2010). The participants selected in sampling needs to have a proper
understanding of the health concerns of obesity. The various information points provide proper
support in primary care. This study is much more reliable in giving the results regarding the
patient's obesity and help them in weight loss. The qualitative study is responsible for giving
valid results regarding the particular topic.
Where the quantitative study includes reviews of the different authors regarding the specific
topic. The patient's obesity is a common problem that gives brief research based on the research
topic (Bekhet and Zauzniewski, 2012). The qualitative study also includes a deep study
regarding the increase in obesity. The quantitative research of this public health includes the
study conducted for the analyzing of the topic. The research report includes the quantitative
study gives a brief description regarding the weight loss that controls obesity among the people.
The author reviews regarding weight management help in understanding public-health research.
In the process of quantitative study, randomization was performed along with the use of a
telephone that has a sensor (Sargeant, 2012). The description of the patients affects the overall

reduces obesity among patients (Pi-Sunyer, et al., 2015). The description of Liraglutide is the
most relevant part to analyse the factors to reduce obesity in patients. The treatment of obesity is
included in this research and it describes the various factors of obesity. It has bee analyzed that
the qualitative study is more responsible to give valid results.
