PUBH6013 Assessment 3: Investigation of Student Alcohol Use

This report presents a qualitative research study on student alcohol use, focusing on data collection procedures, analysis, and findings. The research employed face-to-face interviews with two university students to gather data on their perceptions and experiences with alcohol. The data collection process involved addressing challenges such as finding willing participants and managing interruptions. Data analysis included coding into themes based on interview questions and presenting findings through tables and graphs. Key findings revealed insights into physiological factors influencing alcohol abuse, student perceptions of alcohol as a stress reliever and social tool, and the consequences of alcohol abuse. The study highlights the complexities of student alcohol consumption and its impact on various aspects of their lives.
