Student A:
Providing constructive critique on the scope and significance of qualitative research
Student A had selected the qualitative research, as it could be effective for the researcher to
collect the non-numerical information about the research matter. This method will offer an
opportunity to the investigator to complete their study in limited time and cost with a higher
quality result (Wilkinson and Durden, 2015).
Identifying alternative methods that might more effectively enable them to achieve their aims
From the perspective of student A, it is found that the case study method is used for
collecting the information in the context of the current issue. This method could enable
research candidates to critically evaluates to meet the aim and objectives of the research
matter. Snowball sampling will be practiced to get higher responses of the participants
towards the research matter.
Discussing the role of the researcher in qualitative research design and method selection
The researcher plays an imperative role in the section of qualitative research design. This
selection of suitable method could directly affect the overall outcome of the study. The
research has deeply evaluated both quantitative as well as a quantitative research design for
selecting the research methods (Humphrey, 2014).
Student B:

From the perspective of this student B, it is found that the qualitative method is effective for
critically evaluating research issue and reaches a valid conclusion. The qualitative research
considered the existing sources for collecting the data that is a major advantage of this
method (Sunder 2016).

This student has used the interpretivism method, as it could facilitate to collect theoretical
information towards the research issue. This method could quite costly but effective to
complete the aim at less cost. It could also increase the possibilities of getting a reliable and
valid outcome.

In this, the researcher has deeply examined methods, approaches, and strategies that will be
considered to complete the study (Humphrey, 2014). There is a certain research tool that is
examined by the investigator at the time of selecting the qualitative research design like cost,
time, availability of data, and accuracy of information.
Student C:

On behalf of the student C, it can be evaluated that the ethnographic qualitative research
methodology will be practiced as it could offer an opportunity for the investigator to obtain
statistical information in the context of the research issue. This tool considers the primary
data collection sources to meet the aim and objective of the research matter (Wilkinson and
Durden, 2015). Email method has been practiced by the researcher to directly communicate
with respondents and meet the aim.

The investigator could also use many sources like online websites, books, and articles to get
the information towards the research issue. It will be effective in the attainment of the
research task.
