Trustworthiness and Rigour
Trustworthiness
Trustworthiness is one of the most important thing for a research because many people
going to read this report to get information about the topic. It is all about sources used to collect
data from. If the sources used for research are good enough and providing correct and realistic
data then research can be considered as trustworthy. If the correct information is provided in the
report then it will help reader to get correct information about the specific topic.
There are four elements of the trustworthiness which are credibility, transferability and
dependability (Mackey and Gass, 2015). The credibility is all about right interpretation of data
that is collected for research. If the interpretation is completed in right manner then the report
can be considerable. All the data collected in research is credible and interpretation is also
correct. The other component of trustworthiness is transferability, it about the use and
applicability on other situations related t the topic. This is important for researcher to collect data
and information and inter prate it in right manner to use it for further application in different
situations. The last component of the trustworthiness is dependability, dependability and
credibility looks same and some of the people think that is not important to mark research both
credible and dependable. Only one is enough to prove the trustworthiness of research. The
dependability is more about the reliability of research. The last component of trustworthiness is
confirmability. This is important for research to consider the earlier research work to perform
research accordingly. This is how they can confirm the results of research are good enough to
prove previous research work.
Rigour
The rigour is the other important factor of research work. This shows that research is
conducted with complete responsibility. It shows that During research process researcher was
careful enough to use the correct data and information. By this it can be insured that the data and
information used in the report is correct and reliable. By following this steps research can be
conducted with high precision and accuracy because the data collection and interpretation is
completed with careful behaviour (Bresler and Stake, 2017). The main component of rigour are-
Content, Pedagogy and assessment. Content is also known as complete report. This is important
to write all the content with careful behaviour. Because any mistake in the process of report

writing can lead to the wrong information development. Pedagogy is considered for the
formatting of the report. The formatting of content is important for the academic report writing
for good presentation. The last part of the rigour is assessment. This is important for researcher
to perform better assessment to conclude the right result and conclusion of report.
Importance of Trustworthiness and Rigour
The rigour and trustworthiness both are important while preparing the certain research
work. Research work that is prepared for the medical field need to be correct to make it more
reliable for other researcher. By considering these factors, researcher can make a effective and
productive research work.
Part B
Sampling Section
As per the observation of report, sampling used is purposive sampling. It can be
evaluated that in the report research was relied on the own judgement. As per the own judgement
they have chosen the population to conduct research (lick, 2015). Researcher also have
mentioned in research methodology that research method used in research work is purposive
sampling. For research work people of two country has been considered as the despondences.
There are different ways to access the respondents which can be used to get their reviews. The
population were accessed through the driver chain referral and to access the students of Korea,
social media is used. This is how the sample population is accessed for research work.
Researcher has already mentioned that how people were accessed in for research work and which
methods were used to get information about research work. It is not clearly mentioned that why
they have selected particular research topic. Only the age group information is provided in
research methodology. By providing age grouping information they have justified that the
selected participants are the best suitable for research work. This is how the information has been
extracted from people who were selected in the sampling process. In the sampling process some
participants have avoided the process of sampling because the topic is related to the skin virus
and people are not interested to talk about such problems. This is the issue why some of the
people who were involved in the data collection process has avoided research. Also, one of
factor in the sampling is related to the use of social media. Because the data is collected through
the social media platform, that's why people have avoided questions of research.

There is some information of the target people has been mentioned in the report. The
specific information that is provided by researcher is related to their origin country and their age
group. Also, some more information is provided in the form of table which is providing adequate
information about the sample people (Silverman, 2016). This is information is not enough for
research of medical field because reader need to know more about people who were involved in
research work. The sample size used for research is not enough for research of the medical topic.
For more precise and accurate result it is important for researcher to consider large group of
people to collect the data. The sample used in research will not help to conclude the result of
research work. There is no information of the ethical consideration has been mentioned in
research work. It is important to used ethical consideration to meet the requirement of people.
For research work social media is used and people have provided the information on their own
choice so there is no need to mention the details ODF ethical form. According no consent is
required from the sample targets. This is how the proper sampling is used for research work and
it is improving the trustworthiness and rigour of research.
Part C
Data Collection
There are different processes can be used to collect the data from the respondents. In this
research to collect the information from the respondent group interview was performed. It was
kind of group discussion which was of free style and free listening. There were certain question
were used to collect the information from the respondents (Humphries, 2017). On the base of
semi structured guidelines are used to conduct this focused group discussion. By using the
focused group discussion and high class recording devices were used. The views and
conversation of people has been recorded with help of these devices. Researcher has effectively
justified that a particular method is used to collect the information from people who are part of
research. Researcher also have justified that data collected in the process of the group discussion
is effective because the data collected by free listening and the individual views are recorded in
the high durable devices. There is a short information is provided in research that how research
was executed and how the data collection was performed. The process explained in research
report is good enough to know about the data collection process. There are some potential
influence of this method because by listing other on the particular topic help other to improve
their views and information. In the data collection process there are some minor modifications

were performed but these modifications are not considerable because these changes do not have
huge impact on the data collection process. There is no certain information is provided in the
report because the changes and modifications are minor, and they are not influencing the process
of data collection.
The data saturation is a process is used in the report when no new information is provided
in research work (Attia and Edge, 2017). There is no data saturation is performed by researcher
because in the data collection process different kind of information is collected. All the data that
is collected in the process is in the form of view not in numerical data so, there is no data
saturation is required. Researcher also have provided their own view about research. In the data
collection process role of researcher is explained because individual person have played role of
facilitator and recorder in the group discussion process. So, the role of researcher was to manage
the and operate the group discussion process. All research conducted in the prices is based on
judgement of researcher. It is mentioned in re-port that data collection method is consists of
recording device that is well efficient to record the information provided by individual
participant. In the research no personal information of individual respondent has been provided
so it is not required to mention the anonymity and address it. This is how the whole data
collection process has been conducted for the research. As per the report the data is collected in
form of voice speech and this data can be kept safe in multiple electronics devices. So, the
researcher must have used the alternative methods to keep their data safe from the any damage.
Part D
Data Analysis and Presentation
For the data analysis process open coding has been used in research work. Data collected
in process is evaluated by three different authors and each author have assessed the data three
time to generate more accurate and precise result. The formate of the research work is good so,
there is no need to describe the process to go through the research work. The data is specifically
provided in the research work which is already is in right format. Data collected from
respondents is collected in form of recording of audio message. The themes that are decided in
research are good to describe the issue that is targeted by researcher. All the data collect in data
collection is well explained in form of research themes. Themes of the data analysis process are
derived from the information that is collected from the sample people. For these research more
than two people were involved in research. All different part of research work are completed by

those people. The research topic is more complex so, it needs more people to perform different
required cations to complete the research goals with high conversion rate. As there are more then
two researcher in the research group is not important to reflect the interpretation for each
member. A general and co added interpretation has been provided by researcher group otherwise
it will take more time and also it can affect the target of research (Dumay and Cai, 2015). Most
of the part of collected data has been used in research work. Complete research is based on the
collected data. Also, it is consisted of general information that is required to know more about
particular topic of medical field that is Human Papillomavirus and disease that is caused by this
virus. All the basic information provided in process is associated with topic of report. The best
practice that can be used in the explanation and result interpretation is about the considering the
key points of research work and data to prepare the final report. All the information that is
provided in research is general but in the end of report related sources are mentioned in form of
references. References that are provided in the end are enough to find detailed information of
particular source. In complete research work different type of data and information is provided
which is complete to conclude a general result of research work. Data provided in research
re[port is of two type which are numeric data and other is information (Qualitative data). There is
some scope of more data in research but all the requirements of research are full filled by current
mentioned information.
