Introduction
Quality assurance in the nursing practices is the dynamic concept where it is assumed
that nurses are accountability for the effective care of the patients (Sciacovelli, et. al., 2017).
For this report, medicine error is the learning plan.
Quality assurance – medicine errors
Medicine errors are the major threat to the patient safety, as in Canada there are over
5000 incidents noted in the year 2018 that are indicated by the National Health Service
hospitals. These kinds of errors are mistakenly done by the multiple factors such as involving
faulty supply, labelling and errors of administration, etc (Nccmerp.org, 2019).
QA linked to the healthcare practice
The purpose of the QA is to maintain the high quality of patient care and to prevent
such errors because these kinds of errors put the adverse effect on the patient health and these
errors also put the various legal concertation on the healthcare institute (Ather, et. al., 2013).
QA helps the health care institute to reduce the pharmacology and CPT so that better quality
assurance can be implement in effective and efficient way (Nccmerp.org, 2019).
Summary of the practice reflection
The significance of this study is to examine the critical factors that are responsible for
the declining the quality assurance terms in effective and efficient way. As the adverse effect
of the medicine errors is analysis through the utilization of the medicine cycle by the patient.
In various countries, medicine errors cause a number of deaths (Sciacovelli, et. al., 2017).
Nursing boards and final thoughts
Prescribing errors may be defined as the incorrect drug selection for a patient. Such
errors can include the dose, quantity, indication, etc. Health Care institutes should work in

accordance with the prescribed framework of the quality assurance so that they can minimize
such errors (Okafor, et. al., 2016).
Conclusion
It is concluded that such medicine errors cause number of deaths in the world. Such
kind of errors put the adverse effect on the health of the patients. The degree of adverse
effectiveness depends upon the utilization cycle by the patient.
