Introduction
Quality of health care facility is one of the most important factors. It can be seen that the
process of the health care quality measurement is dependent on different aspects and also the
measurement should be considered as one of the most important aspect as well. Thus, it can be
found that the advance practice nurse plays a crucial role in the health care delivery process for
the patient. Now, it can be found that the process of the health care quality measurement is
complex and focus on the financial aspect of the care facility, location of the facility and also the
health outcome of the patients of the facility. Hence, it can be found that the cost and the access
of the health care are the factors that can impact over the quality of the health care setting as
well. In this context, in the following section I reflect on the aspects of the health care quality
measurement and the evaluation and role development of the advance practice nurse.
Reflection
Quality measurement of a health care facility should be considered with priority for the
improvement of the care quality of the facility as well. In this context I can find that the advance
practice nurses are the professionals who should expect the quality measurement as one of the
basic duties. It has been seen that the advance practice nurse is responsible for the effective care
delivery to the patients with critical or severe health issues and also positively focusing on the
health care quality improvement. I can find that the role of the advance practice nurse is also
focused on the improvement of the health care quality through actively achieving the triple aim
of care experience. The triple aim is improving population health, enhancing care quality and
patient satisfaction and reducing per capita health care cost (Joel, 2018).

Thus, it can be stated that the process of the health care quality improvement by
achieving the customer satisfaction and also improving the health care participation of the
advance practice nurse. Hence, I can also state that the role of the advance practice nurse in the
quality measurement is to improve the care procedures and also effectively plan the regular
quality measurement processes for the health care facility. Thus, it can also be found that the
process of the health care quality improvement is to deliver safe care and focusing on the needs
of the patient and also delivering evidence based practice. I also find that the process of the
health care should be focused on the care standards in order to provide safe care to the patients.
Thus, the advance practice nurse should evaluate the quality of the care procedures and also
provide improved care to the patients.
Hence, the factor of the evaluation is very much important as the evaluation can
determine the aspects of the improvement and the positive aspects of the health care. Moreover,
it can be found that the process of the quality measurement in terms of the evaluation of the care
facility leads to the role development of the advance practice nurse. In this context, it can be
stated that the process of the care delivery and the improvement of the care process should be
focused on the improvement of the health outcome of the patients. It has been seen that the
process of the quality measurement of the health care can be conducted with the health care
record assessment, interview of the patients, interview of the staffs, manual audit or automated
audit (Chakraborty & Kaynak, 2018). Hence, it can be stated that the process of the quality
measurement is dependent on the cost of the process and also effective analysis. Based on this
analysis the determination of the improvement related factors should be considered.
Hence, it can be stated that the safety measurement of the patients should be considered
with highest priority. Moreover, I can find that the role of the advance practice nurse is also

focused on the improvement of the health care quality through actively achieving the triple aim
of care experience. The triple aim is improving population health, enhancing care quality and
patient satisfaction and reducing per capita health care cost. Thus, it can be stated that the
process of the health care quality improvement by achieving the customer satisfaction and also
improving the health care participation of the advance practice nurse. Thus, the focus of the
advance practice nurse is crucial in the quality management of the patients and the care quality.
In this context, it can be found that the possible ways of the quality measurement should be
considered with higher priority by the advance practice nurse as this will direct the patient
centered care delivery process.
On the other hand, the advance practice nurse role should also effectively develop with
the consideration of the improvement of the health outcome of the patients. Moreover, the
process of the quality measurement should also be focused on the evaluation of the care
procedures, attitude of the care professionals and also the process of the health care management
processes (Burstin, Leatherman & Goldmann, 2016). It can also be found that the process of the
quality measurement is also evaluating the cost of the care process and the use of the financial
aspect in the process of the health care delivery. Thus, it can be stated that the process of the
health care delivery is solely focused on the patient health improvement processes. However, the
effective quality measurement and also determining the effectiveness of the care process or the
flaws of the care process is also important. Thus, it can be stated that the advance practice nurse
are the personnel who can determine the factors of the quality measurement. Hence, it can
effectively help the advance practice nurse to develop the career prospect as the job role of the
personnel effectively improve the care process as well.

care delivery and thus the quality improvement is very much important. Moreover, it can be
found that the process of the quality measurement in terms of the evaluation of the care facility
leads to the role development of the advance practice nurse. In this context, it can be stated that
the process of the care delivery and the improvement of the care process should be focused on
the improvement of the health outcome of the patients. It has been seen that the process of the
quality measurement of the health care can be conducted with the health care record assessment,
interview of the patients, interview of the staffs, manual audit or automated audit. Hence, it can
be stated that the process of the quality measurement is dependent on the cost of the process and
also effective analysis. Based on this analysis the determination of the improvement related
factors should be considered. Hence, it can be stated that the safety measurement of the patients
should be considered with highest priority (O’Beirne et al., 2018).
Moreover, I can find that the role of the advance practice nurse is also focused on the
improvement of the health care quality through actively achieving the triple aim of care
experience. The care measurement of the quality is solely subjective and also qualitative. Thus,
the improvement should be seeking the customer satisfaction factors and also effective
evaluation of the negative aspects. It can also be stated that the process of the health care quality
evaluation is very much effective if the outcome of the measurement is focused on the customer
feedback and also improve the health outcome of the patients. Hence, it can be found that the
partnership with the patients and also developing effective therapeutic relationship with the
patients would be effective for the advance practice nurses so that the process of the health care
can be improved properly. On the other hand, the effectiveness of the care and the improvement

is the factor that the role of the nurses can be improved through experience, knowledge and skill
development (Edvardsson, Watt & Pearce, 2017).
Conclusion
Based on the above discussion it can be concluded that the process of the quality
measurement of the health care facility is dependent on different aspects. However, the
determination of the quality is solely focused on then health outcome of the patients. In this
context, it can be found that the advance practice nurses are the responsible personnel for the
evaluation of the quality of the care facility. Thus, the audit processes and interview processes
are focused on the customer satisfaction mostly. On the other hand, the factor of the
improvement based on the identification of the flaws of the system of care is also directed to the
patient centered care approach and also evidence based practice to achieve the customer
satisfaction. Thus, the focus of the job role improvement and also the effective therapeutic
relationship with the patients would also be achieved by the advance practice nurses through the
quality improvement or measurement processes.
