The qualitative research study conducted by Fakhr-Movahedi et al. (2016) was
conducted to analyse the role of nursing professionals in maintaining and nurse-patient
relationship, as it was believed that good relationship between nurse and patient could
increase the quality of care. The researchers hence conducted the study with 23 nursing
professionals, patients and their family members present in the medical and surgical wards so
that the effectiveness of nurse patient relationship in enhancing the quality of care. Within
these, 11 nursing professionals were Iranian, and rest 12 were patients admitted in the
aforementioned wards, in a healthcare facility in Tehran, Iran. For conduction of the study,
researchers conducted interviews and observational studies with the subjects of this research
so that their activities and their responses could be analyzed for understanding the
effectiveness of the process. The results and findings were categorized between two aspects
such as identification of patient’s needs, and the communicative behavior with patients. After
analyzing these two categories, it was found that with good patient and nurse rapport, the
trust and belief of patient’s on care system increases. Further, it was seen that nursing
professionals that were polite and calm throughout their care process, were able to provide
effective and quality care to the patients. Hence, this qualitative study was able to identify the
effectiveness of the process of healthcare.

healthcare process so that Spanish patients requiring behavioral healthcare therapy could be
provided with effective healthcare processes. The researchers had the objective of identifying
the relationship between the therapeutic alliances using language interpreter in the care
processes. This experiment involved trained language interpreters for the experiment and
after the involvement of these professionals the extent to which the patients with LEP were
helped were analyzed so that quantitative analysis could be conducted. The healthcare
intervention that were selected for this research process were associated with behavioral
healthcare therapy which is applied on patients that are suffering from mental health
complications. 458 Spanish speaking patients were selected for the behavioral health services
at two primary care clinics in the health center of northwest Arkansas. Collected data were
analyzed and the findings indicated to the fact that 90% of the patients that were unable to
understand the language used by the care professionals, were able to understand the
effectiveness of the care process with the implementation of interpreter. In this aspect, 10
behavioral consultant, 30 qualitative interviewer and interpreter, due to which, they were able
to understand the effectiveness of the process. Hence, through this process, they were able to
understand the effectiveness of interpreter in the care process of patient that are not able to
understand the processes.
