It can be seen from the collected data that the average BMI of the selected 30 students is
23.5 kg/m2. The median value of BMI indicates that 50 percent of the selected students have
BMI higher than 27.64 kg/m2. The mode of the distribution is 28 kg/m2. Thus, it can be said that
most of the people have a BMI of around 28 kg/m2. It is seen that the mean is less than the
median which is again less than the mode. Thus, the BMI of the students can be said to have a
negatively skewed distribution.

It can be seen from the charts that the BMI of the people decreases with the increase in
the age of the people. The dataset consists of more obese females than males. The number of
males that are underweight and normal are higher than that of females and the number of
overweight females are higher than the number of overweight males.
Among the underweight people, 9.09% people are graduates, and there are no
undergraduate students. Moreover, it can also be seen 36.36% of the students who have studied
less than high school are underweight. This is the highest percentage observed in the
underweight category. Thus, the BMI of the lesser educated people are higher. Among the class
of normal students, the highest percentage is shown by the undergraduate students and among
the overweight category, the highest percentage of students are undergraduate. No student
studying less than high school have higher BMI. The results are illustrated in the following
charts.
