1. Objective of the project
My project shall have a systematic program which shall record the performance rating of
students who have faced discrimination at one or the other point in the school premises. The
school that I will be covering will include public and private premises. There will also be
awareness program with the help of skit and plays to increase self-awareness, social awareness,
and relationships management.
2- Why it is important to the community.
The 4 specific objectives of my project:
- Measure the impact that racism and discrimination can have on young minds. They may
be suffering internally and that could trigger hatred for the society.
- To increase the awareness in the community and also the parents and staff about the
negative impact. To tell them the harm that racism can causes depression on children &
young people.
- The main aim of the project is to make strategies to reduce discrimination and racism in
the schools campus. This project with campaign will insure that it not only reduces but
also avoid any recurrence (Lewis & David, 2019).
- To encourage the mindset of safety and secure for the whole school environment and the
students who are the future and will carry on the principles. Also to encourage them to
share their daily experience with elder and parents.

4. List the possible problems you might run into.
There can be several problems while trying to complete this project. Students, school and other
authorities can claim that they don’t follow discrimination issues. To convince them about the
effectiveness of the project and to tell them that it will be encouraging young minds to be honest
and fair with others. They should understand the intensity of being partial in a society that
promises equal rights to everyone (Rattansi, 2020). Racism and discrimination is a social
injustice and the one who suffers have no help from the society. Although they are well talented
they still can’t bring the level of confidence that is required. This project along with the
campaign will try to change the mind set of people who think that they are privileged. Everyone
belongs to the same society and community they have to be responsible for what they do and say.
Thus by this initiative there can be some positive change that everyone will experience over the
time.
