Week 2 - Racialization, social Darwinism and Racism

Description: The concept of the journal is to focus on the idea of racism and race in
consideration with the difference between the humans and the inequality. The idea has been
bounded to the concept of civilization which is termed as a factor for proximity.
Analysis: It has been analyzed from the article that the idea on the racism and race is a serious
concept and also, it was analyzed that the term does not act arbitrary and is in the mid of what
the race and racism refers to.
Reflection: From the article, I analyzed that race and racism is a major issue but some people
take it as a concern of superiority. Instead of dealing it with carefulness and a measure of
concern, but some people feel superior by discriminating others. I understood that innatism is
radial.

Description: The article included the use of evidence based policies for improving the life
chances and the results of the people considering the whole provision socially.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that there s an argument between the factors that all can act as
evidences are being mobilized for involving the benefits socially and racially. It has been
analyzed that the evidences represents that racism is endemic .
Reflection: I understood the fact that the experiences of the migrant communities that were
new does not used the potential of the institutional racism.

Reflection: I think preventive measures should be taken in order to cope with the issues

Australia on the basis of racism and discrimination on cultural values and social factors as well.
There has been a range of factors that have contributed to the improvisation.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that there have been observed some positive changes in the
socio cultural and economical differences of Australia.
Reflection: I understood the fact that there were the involvement of some factors that
improved the conditions better than the before.

Description: The article includes the information about the deaths that has been caused by the
racism factor. Various people have gone through the suicides because of the racism and
discrimination they face in Australia. It has been done with the humans to an extent where they
end up with fighting with the issue and ended up their lives.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that the racism and discrimination should be given priority
measures so that the people can understand the fact that it is not an act of superiority and also,
should not be done to an extent when people end up with competing with it.
Reflection: I observed that less measures have been taken as it could not even controlled the
deaths of people. Also, it does not make any sense to do such much that people lose their
capability of fighting as well.

Analysis: It has been analyzed that that the practitioners of the child protection first
have to themselves go under the understanding of the attitudes and behaviors of the
people towards different practices.

Reflection: I observed that this is a good starting which can help in providing better
health and safety option along with the protection towards the children in Australia.

Reflection: I observed that the interpersonal skills are very essential in the behavior of a
person and how they deal with the others as well.

Analysis: It has been analyzed that all the terms and processes are termed as under of a
principle, Howard factor. Australia has faced a huge impact over these factors.
Reflection: I think the Howard factor was implied in a way that may be people will
understand the fact that it is being done in an extent that people have lost their
competency levels as well.

Reflection: I think the Australian government tried searching for ways but did not reached

Reflection: I think in the political culture of Australia, the invasion has thrown a smaller

Analysis ; It has been analysed that these practices were helpful to an extent but still the
problem has aroused to an extent .
Reflection : I observed that these practices were helpful to a little extent but did not
proved well beneficial for solving the process.

Reflection: I observed that the education about the race ethnicity has made some
impact over people’s mind but still there exists this problem of racism, although to a
lower level but still it persists.

Analysis : It has been analyzed that the structure and processes the people were having
there before was more powerful than that of the present one. Various interventions can
be used for making some improvisations in the on going process.
Reflection : I observed that before some time, the stuation was completely different but
because of some external factors and bodies, it has been worsened to a level where it s
very difficult to improve it, rather some interventions can be tried for making the
process and culture more better and fficient.

Description: The article describes how the global north region has experienced a crisis over
the manufacturing and sales in asylum.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that because of the over crowding of the detention centres
and a resurgence of the arrivals on the boat, the government of Australia has decided to use

Reflection: I observed that these scripts have made an important contribution to the
immigration globally and it is not capable enough of imagining and overcrowding in the
detention centre’s.

Analysis: It was analyzed that the registration board of the social workers have developed
some rules and regulations which have to be followed by the people and it is applicable to
the persons who do not act as social workers.
Reflection: I observed that the social workers registration board has made some very clever
moves towards decreasing the rate of discrimination and racism in Australia.
• Use of theory – Chapter Three in Race and Racism in Australia is entitled “Racism:
concepts, theories and approaches.” Lecture Ten is focused on theory. There are also
articles about theory and practice in blackboard in the Readings (e-reserve).

Description: The article describes some factors on racism and bullying and its impact on the
indigenous. A huge number of participants were observed during the analysis , out of which
more than half of the population accepted the fact that bullying has also became a reason
for suicides and related factors.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that bullying and racism disables the person’s capability of
dealing with the situation and they end up with their lives as a result.
Reflection: I noticed there was a huge crisis over the rate of suicides being done because of
the behavior people did with them.
Wk 7: Multiculturalism

Description: The article considered the information and data about the political leaders of
Australia and the methods in which the possibilities and the limits were explored. An
argument has also been done on the religion on the sleeve factor of politics which also led
to a huge number of conflicts.
Analysis: It has been analyzed that breaching and declination of various principles have
been done which caused more conflicts to happen. Also, implications were observed for
minority groups such as that of Muslims that are considered as implicitly and explicitly and
are being contrasted as well on the basis of their category.
Reflection: I observed that various conflicts were happened because of the category basis
and in association with the minority basis, huge issues were created.

Reflection: From the article, I observed that many rallies were been taken off but it resulted
only in conflicts.

which can be used in future for competing with these sort of situations.
Reflection: I observed that the government of Australia has made various rules and
regulations for supporting people who are under going the negative factors of the racism
and discrimination. Hopefully, the people can become efficient enough to understand the
drawbacks of doing such activities and the impact, it has on the people who are suffering.
