Answer No 2:
Good health is a significant asset for the individuals, but the presence of the racism in heath
care makes it difficult for the individuals to take care of their health. The groups with the
minority are being deprived of the quality health care and also their human rights e violated
in the health care system. It is observed that the people who belong to the minority face
strong negative attitudes during the process of the health care and such feelings of the
discrimination negatively affect the health of the individuals during the health care. Such
negative feelings among the individuals lead a decrease in the adherence of the medication
and the follow of the medical treatment. The institutional racism in the health care results into
the ethnic and the racial minorities, which results into the misappropriate barriers and results
into the decrease in the quality of the care. The racial biasness in the health care continues to
affect the health of the individuals belonging to the lower race. The biasness in the medicine
also in a great way affects the health care system for the lower race individuals. Racial bias in
health care as well manipulates the method of doctors communicating with their patients of
black colour.
Answer no 3:
For changing the institutionalized discrimination, the government and the individuals have to
develop certain plans which include the minorities in the planning with changes in the
judicial system. Providing employment under the Fair employment Act, where the
individuals will be fairly paid and will not be discriminated on the basis of their race. Equal
oppurtunities are also provided in the field of the education where the segregation is to be
ended and the black people are provided with the equal opportunities of education along with
the other individuals.
Many other steps related to the health and the health care system is also taken where the
racism will not adhere and the individuals will be given the equal treatment as the other
individuals are provided. Certain other efforts and the implementation of the Act by the
government will help in the eradication of the racism from the society and providing the
equal rights to each and every individual in the society.
