Implementation ERP in Radiance Dry Cleaners (RDC):
ERP system is proposed to be implemented in Radiance Dry Cleaners. From the given
case study I have seen that the process of managing data at RDC is driven manually. From my
understanding I have found out that managing and entering data manually can cause a lot of
problems in the organization. Sometimes the columns in the data entry book are not filled up in
a proper way. In order to overcome all these drawbacks in the system, the implementation of
ERP has been proposed.
During the proposed implementation plan of ERP in the organization, I have closely
identified the main issue of the organization. In this case, the main problem of the organization is
the manually driven system of record keeping and analysis of the data in a proper way. In order
to mitigate these problems I have proposed some of the modules in the ERP system. The
modules include inventory module, sales module and purchase module.
In order to understand the effectiveness of my proposed ERP plan, the evaluation of the
business process reengineering is mentioned in the discussion. In this section, I have discussed
the existing business process in the organization and its operations. The business process and the
functioning after the implementation of the ERP has also discussed in a proper way. From this
discussion I have presented the difference between the existing system and the proposed in the
organization.
In the proposed system, which will needed to be implemented the functional
requirements are discussed in a proper way. Apart from that I have discussed the significances of
those functionalities in the system. From the development of the whole system, I have realized
that the need for the justification of the proposed change in the management process.

During the implementation of the ERP in the organization, the selection of the proper
ERP methodology is needed to be adopted. In this case, comparative discussion between the
Vanilla and the chocolate ERP has been done in the discussion. From the requirements of the
RDC, I can understand that the whole system of record keeping is needed to be modified through
ERP.
The contribution I have made in this group is to identify the different needs for the
implementation of the ERP in RDC. In this context, I have discussed the significance for the
change in the management.
From the development of this assignment, I have found out that communication between
the team members is an important thing for the proper compilation of the project. Apart from that
problem solving ability is an important thing. This problem has been overcome through the
brainstorming process. Knowledge sharing is important thing in the brain storming process. In
case, if any members of the team are confused with ant concept or problem, he or she discussed
the matter with other team members. This will help to reduce the computation in the
implementation process. We have done proper team work and our team was united to achieve the
goal of the project. In this case, the decision making for the implementation ERP has been done
with the collaboration of all the members of the team.
