Ramada is a big UA international hotel chain that is owned by the Wyndham resorts
and hotels. By the end of 2018, it operated around 800 hotels across the 63 countries.it
provides several facilities including event and meeting facilities (Ouyang, Wei & Chi, 2019).
It also has hotels near the airport across every country. As compare to other brands, clients
have the best facility at Ramada hotels.
Challenges that Ramada Hotels are facing
From the customer review, it is come to know that the major issue that they face
sometimes is key card problem. Sometimes, clients had to change the room key many times
at the time of entering the room. Due to this, they also get frustrated.
The second issue that was identified as related to the clients as they were facing the
maintenance problem. Besides this, some also stated the problem of cleaning in Ramada
Hotels. Due to this, they have to face the issue of hygiene. It is true that the cleanliness and
positive environment is the essential apart of any hotel industry. If it will not be up to the
mark, clients will never visit the hotel again.
Competition is the biggest challenge that every hotel industry is facing in recent time.
Among all the competitors, Brierwreath Manor is the top competitor. It is a private company
founded in Galena, Illinois. Although, Brier wreath Manor has only few employees. Besides
this, Belle Aire Mansion is also founded to be the top competitor of Ramada. The guesthouse
of Belle Mansion is in Galena Illinois. This guesthouse also tends to generate the 160 per cent
of the revenue of the Ramada. As compare to the Ramada hotels, Hilton is growing well in
the market by getting customer satisfaction in every aspect. From the customer satisfaction
survey, Hilton has received the American customer satisfaction of 80 in the year 2019. Hilton
is on the top list among all the hotels. It also provides several options to the customers in
order to stay and enjoy. Apart from this, Hilton is also able to satisfy the customers in terms
of cleanliness and hygiene. It also put emphasis on the satisfaction of customers on huge level
(Viglia, Mauri & Carricano, 2016). Due to the increasing competition, several hotels are
adopting new technologies in order to satisfy the customers (Grobelna, 2015). Same as

contemporary social media trends to stay competitive and relay that info back to the social
media and consumer service teams, said Taylor Cole, executive of social media and public

campaign with the hashtag of Hilton. In addition to this, it also tends to create the You Tube
Videos. In recent time, customers are also giving attention to social media. Therefore,
Ramada should also increase its attention on social media sites. It will help it in increasing
customer attention (Chand, 2016).
Solution to remove these challenges
To eliminate the issue of card problem, the company can work on its infrastructure
facilities properly. It should send the person with every client that will assist them in opening
the door. Besides this, it should also improve its facilities by keeping the use of proper
technology. It will help it in removing this issue. The discussion is therefore carried on the
challenges that Ramada is facing in the recent time. Besides this, solutions are also provided
in order to remove those challenges (Melissen, van Ginneken & Wood, 2016). The next issue
was related to maintenance and cleanliness. Ramada Hotel must give proper attention in this
area. It can make the policy for cleanliness. In this regard, it can provide the training to its
staff for teaching them how to implement hygiene and safe practices. It should also make
some of the investment in the maintenance. Effective maintenance will keep the clients
happy. The training of the staff will also teach them to think out of the box. After the quality
and cleanliness of the rooms, it can make a positive impact on the people (Melissen, van
