Introduction
For the college, a website has to be built on WordPress in order to include all the basic
functionality of a college management system. The website will allow the users to visit
and view the information regarding the college such as contact details, address, the
courses offered by the college and generating user queries etc. the students can
register and login into the system to view the course details, exam schedules etc. the
same is implemented for the faulty, the faculty can also generate a query and view the
course details and exam schedule etc. The focus of building this website is to expand
the business of college in through more admissions and also by making the students
aware of the courses offered by the college in order to engage student’s attraction. The
website needs to be tested against the user requirements. System requirements, user
requirements have been mentioned in the report.

Business requirements and standards
The business requirement of the college is to develop a website that will make
the students reach out to the college through it. The focus of building this
website is to expand the business of college in through more admissions and
also by making the students aware of the courses offered by the college in
order to engage student’s attraction. The college wants a website to enable
the student to know more about the college, the courses college is offering to
the students etc. the website should contain the basic details of the college
such as address, contact numbers and E-mail id etc. The website will be
accessed online throughout the college as well as outside of the college. The
students should be able to register into the website and view the information
provided in the website. The website has to be build using WordPress and
should contain all the functionalities. The admin, higher authorities of the
college should have the basic rights of changing and updating any of the
information provided into the website. The staff members should be able to
upload the student’s information to the website such as the academic result
etc. The website should have its copyright. Hence this website will help in
creating the awareness among the students about the courses availability,
environment and its infrastructure.

Architectural Requirements
 Security architecture- the admin of the college has the access to change the
information content of the website. The users should only be able to view the
information and download the schedules such as lecture schedule and exam
details. The same should be applicable to faculty and staff members.
 Information architecture- the site will have the basic information of the college
which is present in the home page which is the root page. The root page can be
navigated to ‘about us’ page, ‘contact us’ page, ‘students support’ page and
‘faculty support’.
 The template for designing the website should be “Gravida”.

The data will be stored using phpMyAdmin, with the help of MySQL database
management system. The data containing details like courses available, time table of
lectures and examination and details about the courses and the student information like
the student username and password has been added in the MySQL queries in
