Introduction
This scenario is related to the development of a website for the Ransford college. The website is used to
enhance the business of the college. In this scenario, all the component of the website is discussed. The
component of the website is also shown. The website which is required to develop will use WordPress
technology. Wordpress is easy to use and drop and down technique for the creation of the website. After
this scenario, a person will come to know about the use of WordPress for the designing of the website. In
this website a portion will develop in which a student can submit their query. This facility will also be
included for faculty. After this scenario, the requirement of the college is completely fulfilled.

Business requirements and standards

The major requirement for the growth of the business of the college is to create a
website by which a student will easily contact higher authorities. The gap between the
higher authorities and student should be minimized by the use of the website. A
student can post his/her queries related to the college. This website will also be
developed to advertise about the college so that the admission in a college is increased.
The institution requires to publish information about the college by the website. The
website will contain numerous pages. A ‘contact us’ page in which all the contact
detail of the college is shown. An ‘about us’ page in which all the information about
the environment of the college, the history of the college is shown. Basically, a college
wants a medium of interaction from the student by this scenario or website. The
technology used to develop this website is WordPress. Wordpress is the most efficient
way to design a website. The designed website is must support all types of browser
(like google chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft edge, Safari, etc.) and devices (like
computer, tablets, TV, and mobile). The website will be easily accessible to the user
every time and everywhere. The hosting agent used must support heavy traffic
without lagging so that the performance of the website is not decreased when heavy
traffic is coming to the website. College requires an admin panel for the website so
that future changes can be done on the website. This website is basically used to issue
results, time table, fee structure, etc. College requires a copyright of the website so
that no one can copy its content and design.

tables and syllabus are planned to published on the website so that student can easily download their
syllabus and time table with just a form filling. The college publishes about all its events and academic

Security: This is the basic requirement of any website. The user information must be kept

to be avoided. The information about the college is placed on the website.
