This report will cover a case study of Raymond who isn’t part time accountant an specialist in
personal taxation advice. Raymond was also having sold preparatory business where he came in
contact with the Samantha. Samantha and Raymond come in the oral contract and some other
have to pay around 800 pound but Samantha was Able to afford this amount so what were agreed
on the 200 pound. after some time Samantha painting sold in high price and he become famous.
And now Raymond is thinking to claim 600 Found so this report will cover what a legal action
can be taken by Raymond and what advice Samantha can take.

Samantha denied to pay do 600 pound. 1st available option for the Raymond is that he directly go
to the Samantha and communicate with him about did you that he was not able to afford that
time but now he is able to afford so he can ask for the repayment. previous situation Samantha
told that he can could not afford to pay 800 pound and instead of him he's able to weigh 200, It
was an oral communication contract and there was no Return bill or any kind of agreement was
there that Raymond provided the discount of 600 to the Samantha. it means that Raymond have
option that he could say that it was an do you amount that Samantha have to pay. Another option
Raymond have to offer a decent amount for the settlement of payment, he can propose this
amount to the Samantha so both the party will be agreed. If Samantha will able to accept this
proposal from the Raymond then They can settle this case with negotiation. Last option
Raymond have is that he go legally because He’s having a proof that he was working for the
Samantha and he was in contract with him, on the other side Samantha cannot prove that 200
pound was and full settlement of Payment. and full settlement of payment because they have

not mentioned that they communicate on Telephone So Raymond can go legally because, he
was helping him and taxation advice.

Situation would be different if Samantha had paid Raymond 200 pound three weeks earlier from
the actual payment date. it will be different situation because Samantha paid he’s dues before
the actual date And he will have a proof that he have already paid before the given deadline and
after the end of deadline Raymond will not have the option becausr contract is already over and
everything has been settled (Cop., 2017). it can be a good situation for the Samantha because he
can claim that they were agreed with the 200 and he had advantage is that he already paid their
payments before the due date. in this situation Raymond will not have much more option and he
could not Prove that Samantha had to pay another 600, it is big cause he had to show in the
receipt that he have provided the discount and this receipt will be go to Samantha which will be
useful for him as a proof. The legal contract will be made so Samantha will have option to go to
the court and File a case on the Raymond. But on the other side Raymond cannot also take legal
action against Samantha, if he is asking for the payment before the due date (Draper and
Newton., 2017). before the due date he have legal right to ask for his full payment and Samantha
had to pay him according to the contract and it will be legal right of the Raymond that he can
denied to give offer and ask for the full payment until the last date of payment.

Raymond will be having a good legal position and he's having a right to ask for the settlement
because According to the situation Raymond have strong case because he have a proof of
working with the Samantha and he can file a case against him. in a oral contracts are legal and it
can be useful for the Raymond to go legally, if Samantha denied to pay do 600 pound (Renjie
and et.al, 2019). 1st available option for the Raymond is that he directly go to the Samantha and
communicate with him about did you that he was not able to afford that time but now he is able
to afford so he can ask for the repayment. That time condition of the Samantha was not that good
to pay the bills of the Raymond but now he how earned huge amount so he’s able to pay him
back. Samantha short accept The offer given by the Raymond becausr, he's asking for the less

amount for the settlement and Samantha can afford to pay this kind of bill easily, it would be a
good opportunity for the Samantha if he will be ready to settlement becausr Raymond have
helped him when he was not having money and during his struggling time but when he's having
a good amount then he cannot deny to pay dues. Raymond have work for the Samantha for
around four years which isn't long period of time and he dissolved to get his amount back. It is
necessary for the Samantha to accept the offer even by the Raymond because it isn’t good
settlement price and if he denied to pay the 400 then Raymond can go legally and Samantha have
to pay more than 400 for the settlement of case on him (Tale., 2020). It will also waste whose
time and money both becausr legal cases can go for the years and it can take time for both the
parties to get justice. According to this situation Raymond have helped Samantha when he was
not having anything and he worked for him for three years and for that he take only 200 by
thinking that. Samantha is not able to pay the full amount.
Advice for the Samantha
I would like to give advice to the Samantha that, During his struggle Raymond was the one who
helped him a lot in the taxation advice and this long time have created a good relationship
between them. this can be seen becausr when he was not able to pay the depth of 800 pound of
payment, Raymond was agree to take 200 for his work. It wasn’t kind side of the Raymond that
he showed to the Samantha. Before it was different situation because That time Samantha was
not that much rich or he was struggling and shortly afterwards when he become popular and get
the high price for He’s painting which was around 20,000 pounds. It is an good amount for him
and he can easily pay the 600 of amount to the Raymond (Landau., 2020). It is responsibility of
the Samantha to repay his dues because Raymond help him when he was needed but he was
angry two take 200 instead of 800 pound because of the situation an struggle faced by the
Samantha. Now he has everything and he can easily pay the 600 of amount to the Raymond so
according to me he should repay his payment so the relation can be continued. Raymond can also
be helpful for the future advice is related to it because He’s expert in taxation and he will be
needed the help of Raymond in future. the settlement of the payment will create good image in
both of them and they will able to trust each other.

Samantha was having a bad situation and he was struggling with their work. but after sometimes
