Potential improvements
There are several issues that are present in the business of the hospital and some
improvements could be made in the sector. The major improvement that could be made in the
hospital procedure is the implementation of the access to the EHR for the pathology
department. It would allow the simplification of for the pathology department to manage the
test results of the patients and provide the doctors with the most updated information for
making better treatment.

From the above image, it could be observed that patient information is stored in the database
of the hospital for any future references. It would help the doctors and the physicians with
obtaining the required idea about the previous treatments that have been done for the patients.
The nurses and the pathology department have the access to the pathology department
database and they could access this database for making any improved report for the doctors
when any patient comes to visit for the second time.
