Respected sir,
With due respect, I would like to state that I am reapplying for the extension of my study permit,
which is due to expire by the end of January 2019. I have been studying in Canada for the last
one year after being transferred to the new province and studying as a part timer in the college
since January 2018. As an international student, I have had to apply for a study permit that was
accepted the first time.
Initially, my aim was to complete my Accounting certificate and then go back to my family,
pursue a career in accounting in my home country and settle down. Although I wanted to
continue staying in the country after completion of my study and look for job here only, my
family members back home want me to come back. All my family members are in my home
country, far away from me and long to see me. I also long to see them but since I have to
compete my further study, I have to have my study permit extended. My mother in particular,
calls me every day and worries a lot about my health. She wants that I complete my study soon
and go back to her. Sir, I too want that but not at the expense of leaving my dreams incomplete. I
want to complete my higher level accounting diploma and degree.
Sir, since my study permit expires this year, I have to extend it for two more years. I have sent an
application along with the letter previously but it was rejected on grounds of incomplete
documentation and proof. I am aware that as an international student, I have to comply with all
the conditions that are imposed on me. Let me assure you sir that I am well acquainted with all
the necessary requirements to continue my stay as a student in Canada. I am aware that I have to
submit my application for the extension of the study permit 30 days prior to the expiration of the
previous permit. Further, I am also aware that I have to submit the application for a temporary
resident visa to the Case Processing Center (CPC). I can assure you sir that I have complied with
all these conditions.

Sir, I am also aware that unless my study permit is renewed, I will have to continue as a student
and cannot start working. I can assure that I have strictly followed all the rules and regulations as
an international student studying under study permit.
As an international student, I am aware that I will have to leave Canada after my study permit
expires and my authorized period of stay ends. However, since I have successfully completed my
Accounting certificate course and have been approved to pursue higher level accounting diploma
and degree for the coming two years, I have to stay for that long in Canada. Other than studies, I
have loved this country for its beauty and its people especially my professors and mentors.
Although I studied as a part time student in my college, I have always taken my study seriously
because I knew that being a foreigner, I will have to work extra hard. I have been able to
complete all my projects and have been appreciated for the same. Apart from academics, I have
also been interested in community service as I have always been enthusiastic about helping
people. As I was a part time student, I had the time to pursue some interests of mine and visited
several organizations working towards community service. Moreover, I have strong values that I
have inherited from my family that make me feel compassionate about people. Canada has given
me that opportunity to utilize the values I have inherited.
Sir, to state further my credibility to have my study permit renewed, I must reinstate that I come
from a well-to-do family with strong financial background. My father is a renowned
businessperson and my mother is a government employee in my home country. I have no
siblings and that is why, I have always been pampered in the family. Being a single child has
also made it easier for me to enjoy a luxurious life without much problem or obstruction.
Therefore, I can assure you that I have sufficient financial resources to address all the payment
requirements including the tuition fees and accommodation charges. I could produce the relevant
documents and bank account statements of both my parents and myself as evidence of my
financial stability.
The strong financial background has also helped me pursue my dream of studying abroad
especially in Canada. Canada was and has always been my first preference because I have
always been fascinated by its diversity; it reminded me of my own country. However, I have
sometimes found that some people indulge in wrong practices and cause harm to others simply

because they do not belong to this country. I have faced such situations when I was only a month
old in this country. Some individuals called me names because of my ethnicity. I could have
reverted with equal aggressiveness but I chose not to and moved on. I found other people in my
support, which made me, feel happy and respect this country more.
I can thus assure you sir, that I have not, ever in my entire life, committed any crime whether in
my home country or in Canada. The law requires me to be an individual free of crime and other
illegal or anti-social activities, which I can proudly state that I have duly obliged. I could state
the same for my family back at home as well.
Sir, I therefore, request you to kindly extend my study permit so that I could duly complete my
higher-level studies and go back to my family. I would forever be indebted to you for your
gesture. I am herewith attaching the application form for study permit extension and hope that
this time my application will be accepted.
