Subject: Request for inter-changing one management program (elimination of one existing
class and adding one new in its place)
As an active student of the Business Management and Entrepreneurship program in Algonquin
College, I strongly recommend you to interchange one subject of my course specialization,
that is Digital communication with Global Entrepreneurship. The reason I choose to drop
Digital communication program and include Global Entrepreneurship in my course module is
that I want to learn about current business standards at present and how e-entrepreneurs are
changing the world business globally.
About the new program
Global entrepreneurship is a program that combines all business knowhow of present times
and it provides wider outlook about global career opportunity. Good communication and
interpersonal skills are required for bright career, I agree, but in order to have global
recognition I think studying Global entrepreneurship is important. Global young entrepreneurs
highly motivate me.
Advantages of the new program
 First it will encourage me in developing my own career opportunities. I always wanted
to be an entrepreneur and this program will help me taking my initial step towards my
passion.
 Communication is a subject everyone is well versed with, mainly the basics. Using e-
tools for communication is not a big deal and practical life instances help us learnt the
subject effectively.
 Fees consideration is not an issue because I have already deposited my full-time course
fee for this year. Also, we are eligible to use elimination course option for one subject
of our choice and I am opting for the same.
 I know course alteration is not supported because they are structured in the best manner
to impart quality education, but still I will request you to consider my case as I am sure
of my future career prospects and need Global Entrepreneurship in my current module.
Recommendation
I strongly recommend you to consider the issue and include the program of Global
Entrepreneurship in my current curriculum instead of Digital Communication, so that I can get
the best advantage of it.
