As per the observances made by Alex Briggs, the owner of Recon, it is imperative
that the repair work at the rooftop deck of the building which you have bought cannot be
done without any kind of monetary charges since the shape it is at present is quite deplorable.
It needs a total overhaul as it has not been maintained properly. When the deck was built ten
years ago, Alex Briggs personally supervised it and ensured that the raw materials that were
used for the building of the rooftop deck were of an acceptable quality thereby being fit for
usage as required. The degradation of the rooftop deck has been due to the poor and improper
maintenance and not the usage of sub-standard raw materials. When you asked Alex Briggs
about the lasting period of such kinds of decks, he replied by stating that such decks normally
last for around a period of twenty to twenty five years. The costs which have been estimated
for the purpose of carrying out the repair work would be amounting to two thousand two
hundred dollars after a discount of twenty percent, the original estimated amount being four
