Homework Assignment
AI Summary
This assignment presents a detailed record of a three-year-old autistic child named James, focusing on his developmental challenges, including communication difficulties, social skill deficits, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and color vision loss. The assignment includes an observation of the child's behaviors and a lesson plan designed to address his learning disabilities through various activities. The lesson plan spans three weeks and incorporates activities such as identifying objects, thumbs up/down exercises, coloring, instruction following, alphabet recognition, team play, drawing, organizing tasks, identifying classmates, reacting to things, identifying numbers, and pretend play. Each activity is described in detail for each week, and an assessment section evaluates the child's performance and progress in each activity, highlighting areas of improvement and challenges faced. The goal is to create an educational approach to help the child improve his learning and development.

Running head: RECORD OF AN AUTISTIC CHILD
Observation:
As per my observation, the three years old child named James is suffering from a specific
type of disorder called autism, due to which he faces difficulty in doing some basic tasks which a
normal child would easily do. He is not able to communicate with people and he lacks social
skill; he also has dyslexia and learning disability which is also a very common problem that can
be detected in different autistic children. As suffering from this developmental disorder he also
losses his colour vision.
To treat his disorder in terms of education and to help him in dealing with his learning
disability, I am giving a lesson plan where I will be incorporating activities or tasks, for example,
pretend play, thumbs up and down, identifying objects, instruction taking and many more, which
will help him in improving and speeding up his learning ability.
