In era characterized by the continuous changes in globalization era, easy resources
mobility and technological advances, companies are competing and are successful in the
extended global arena. Hence, there is the requirement for differentiation that leads to
sustainable competitive advantage. In the current situation, the focus has been moved from
traditional sources to the business processes and system and particularly to the human capital,
which has emerged as new sources for the competitive advantage. Hence, the success of any
business organization depends on manpower caliber, which steers organizational affairs
(Dany & Torchy, 2017). Recruitment & selection of the human resources is the major part of
the complete resourcing strategy of organization for surviving and succeeding. The better
would be recruitment and selection procedures, the more improved will be the outcome of
organization. The effectiveness of recruitment & selection of manpower results in more
retained and satisfied personnel (Daniel, 2018). Every company is built on two major gears,
which includes human and the material resources. In the absence of adequate and suitable
human and the material resources, organizational objective is difficult for achieving. These
resources are the input into system all through the process for achieving desired output. The
resources of human and the material are significant because it contains organizational
workforce (Ekwoaba, Ikeije & Ufoma, 2015).
