2) Brief description of the Device
Redmi Note 5 Pro is a smart device of the Xiaomi Company that became an enraging
phenomenon due to its specific features. It comprises of a powerful Snapdragon 636
processor along with 4GB/6GB internal capacity. With a battery backup of 4000mAh, it has
4GB RAM and a 5.99” display screen. The phone possesses a camera of (12+5) MP.

3) User Experience resulting from interacting with the Device
As a vivid user of Redmi Note 5 Pro, my most satisfactory experience is with the
speed of the processor and the quality of the camera that the phone provides. The processor
along with 4GB RAM is super-fast and playing strategic games gives me an enriching
experience. The camera has various features to try mobile photography in different modes.
4) Core micro-interactions that are supported by the Device
This smart device of Xiaomi allows for the glove mode operation that is we can use
the mobile wearing gloves without having a finger touch. This is highly pleasurable for the
users to enjoy operating their devices even in cold regions.
5) THREE most important Usability and User Experience Goals for
evaluating the Device
To evaluate the device of Redmi Note 5 Pro, firstly we can talk about the battery
usage of the phone that provides us with 4000mAh battery performance with a standby of
one and a half day without charging the phone. However, if it is used for continuous
entertainment purpose, the device can withstand the battery up to continuous 9 hours (Rawal,
Awasthi and Upadhayay 2017). Fast-charging of the smart phone is also an added feature that
helps the user to use the phone with effective productivity.
Coming to the camera specifications, the user can be highly satisfied with the
features that the phone provides. The front camera is of 20 MP and the rear camera is of
(12+5) MP both having the LED feature. The shutter speed is f/2.2, a feature that the users
will enjoy while clicking efficient snaps.

6) Evaluation of the Device using any THREE-design principles
Affordance- This design principle states how easily a user can use an object and
afford to learn it. For this, the object needs to be simple with user-friendly specifications
(García-Peñalvo and Durán-Escudero 2017, July). Moreover, easy usage of the device will
lead to enhanced interaction. Redmi note 5 Pro has a user-friendly operating system that the
users can easily learn and use it efficiently.
Consistency- It refers to the consistent performance that a device is providing for a
set of similar tasks without any arbitrary issues (Wobbrock Iet al. 2018). Redmi Note 5 Pro
delivers a consistent performance with standby battery mode allowing the user for maximum
usage.
Visibility- It refers to the visibility of the functions making it easy for the user to use
the device efficiently. Redmi Note 5 Pro smart phone incorporates various control functions
such as upgrading the software and other functions by which the user can use the phone for
daily purposes.
