1CHRISTIANITY
Christianity refers to the religion that focuses on the teachings of Jesus Christ. It
emerged in the Roman Empire as an offshoot of Judaism. The main religious book of the
Christians is The Bible which deals with the philosophies that Jesus Christ preached to his
followers.
I, for myself chose the religion of Christianity and the worship place of the Church
because of a number of reasons. Firstly, the church is a place where one can be at peace with
oneself. The church is a peaceful place. Whenever I enter a church, it makes me feel that I am
in a house of God. Moreover, it’s not just the feeling of peace, the church also consists of
intricate and beautiful decorations in it that I feel more interested in the architecture of the
church. The beautiful designs of the church makes me think about the architects who
contributed in making such a beautiful design.
In addition to this, the other reason why I chose the church as a place of worship is
because of the fact that when I visit any particular church, the peacefulness and serenity it
makes me enjoy it and forget about my tensions and other forms of thoughts that might make
me worry.
Thus, to conclude my reflection on my favourite place of worship, I chose the church
as it is a place of worship that makes me feel peace within myself. In addition to that, since I
am interested in ancient architectural designs, being inside a church also helps me to know
about the history behind their creation. Hence, the reason why I chose the church as the place
of worship.
