Clifton strength survey leads self-awareness in me whereas I understood what is the skill
and strength which makes people different from others. While surveying Clifton strengths I
found out there are various people who were unaware about their skills but this assessment
supported them to identify their skills and their strengths (Gallup Strengths Center, 2017). So, I
decided to take group coaching session with my success coach who already have awareness
about his skills. With the group coaching session, I developed number of skills in me and
identified such skills which already I had. Then I surveyed Clifton strengths whereas I learned I
had already fewer skills like empathy but I did not know about myself. But this survey made me
learn about me what are my strengths. There were top five talents or signature themes such as
empathy, positivity, harmony, input and context in the Clifton strengths. When I found these five
top strengths, I became bit surprised because there were number of strengths like empathy and
positivity that were unaware for me because I did not know that these skills were already posses
by me. So, when I got to know about my such strength that moment was surprizing for me.
Harmony and Context theme were new for me because I never heard about these themes but
when I read about these, I felt better because it would support me in future career. When I was
reading about these five talents such as empathy, positivity and harmony and others that time I
was enabled to resonated with something. For example, when I was reading about empathy
theme such as the people who posses’ empathy skill then they can understand others feeling by
imagining themselves on others position or situation. Then I enabled to interlinked with
leadership skills because leaders also posses’ such skills then they enable to understand needs
and requirements of others. As I know empathy theme means relationship building that can
possible when we understand other people’s condition.
As same case happened with input theme such as when I was reading about input theme
as top talent strength then I got to know that this skill posses by such people who have craving
and high interest to know more. In addition, such people often love to collect all innovative
information which makes them strategic thinker (SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre,
2015). That time I was enabled interlinking with strategic manager and leaders’ skills because
they always come up with innovative solution and ideas. I gave Clifton strengths test to analyse
top five talents after understanding these strengths then I had received good result in the Clifton
