Reflection
As per my experience, I analysed that organisation behaviour is playing a very
important role in the organisation as it helps in understanding and managing people. Human
resources are found to be the most important resource for the organisation as they are
responsible for the success and growth of the company (Arif, Zainudin and Hamid, 2019). I
analysed in Google Ltd. that they have a number of human resources and that's why they
found influence of culture on behaviour of individual and team. I identified that culture is
made because of people. I also found that the culture creates the environment in an
organisation and because of this, it provide an influence on long term planning of the
company. Google UK limited is found to be an organisation which have a number of workers
working. I found that every people in the organisation has a different cultural background and
experience. Due to this, I identified that it becomes very tough for an organisation to
convince them for the achievement of a common goal. I learned from my experience that the
culture of an organisation is inspired with the help of the right people, a culture of trust,
rewards and recognition, clear expectations, activity and rituals, etc.
I found out that culture is becoming very important for each and every individual in
the organisation so that they can act accordingly. It can be possible with the help of using
models and theories. From my analysis, I found that the culture of Google limited is found to
be diversified in nature in which employees are belonging to different nations. This is the
main reason that the culture is influenced to the behaviour of individuals and teams. I also
found that the culture of the organisation needs to understand by individuals who want to
work in the organisation as every organisation has different culture. For that purpose, I
analysed that Handy’s cultural model is found to be important as it includes four types such
as role, power, task and person. In the case of Google UK limited, I found that the culture of
the company is a task culture in which they always focus on the completion of the task with
the help of making a team.
I also get a chance to learn the motivation in organisation from this report. I analysed
that motivation is becoming very important in the success and growth of any organisation as
it helps to achieve a goal. Without motivation, a company can't able to encourage the
employees towards organisational goals (Kim and Lawrie, 2019). In the context of Google
UK Ltd., I found that they are using many theories of motivation which helps them to achieve
the goals of the organisation as it provides a great influence on the behaviour of individuals

and teams. As per my personal experience, when I felt demotivated then I realised that my
productivity and efficiency is continuously decreasing. But on the other hand, I realised that
my efficiency in productivity is increasing when I got the proper motivation. This is similarly
applied to the organisation as it has a number of employees who need motivation. With the
help of this experience, I felt that it provided me a deep knowledge of culture and motivation.
It also helps me to become expertise in understanding of culture. The overall experience was
good for me as I am able to learn many new knowledge as well as skills. I also learnt that
every people has different sentiments and emotions which may be create conflicts in the
organisation. This is the main reason to understand and manage people.
