Self reflection is defined as a time spent in analysing and determining own characters and
beliefs. Self reflection is said to be solution to enhance and enrich an individual and provide a
deeper and vast meaning to its life. Human self reflection is referred as a capacity of individuals
to exercise and examine introspection to attempt to learn about their fundamental nature and
essence. While self presentation is referred as how people attempt their skills and themselves to
control or shape how others view them(Djafarova and Trofimenko, 2019) . It involves expressing
oneself and behaving in various ways which creates a desired impression. Self presentation is
part of wide set of behaviours that is also known as impression management. This report is based
on self reflections and self presentation skills of an individual student who is looking to build its
career in health and human science. This report includes skills and knowledge that are important
for personal, academic and career development, importance of self assessment for development
of skills and knowledge, use of targets and goals for personal and professional development,
SWOT analysis for future academic, personal and professional development along with its
conclusion.

human science it provides a wide knowledge of various factors that affects people's health and
systems in place to manage issues. There are various challenges that arises in healthcare and
effects of an ageing population, obesity and its implications that could cause huge global threat
of antibiotic resistance.

build good relationships with them to enhance their goals and knowledge.

various deadlines and competing tasks which are to faced to maintain its survival. So in order to
deal with these situations effective time management skills are required to to deal with different

. As nowadays interpersonal skills are most valuable and demanding aspect in gaining job
opportunities so is lacking in interpersonal and communication skills can affect effectiveness and

harmful to me as it was affecting my skills. Due to lack of soft skills, my efficiency was
not good enough so I took help of my communication as well as effective team work
skills to deal with those problems. I also experienced and faced certain opportunities so I
didn't ignored it and accepted all the opportunities which was beneficial for me. Evaluation: - It means to analyse what was positive and negative in that situation. From
the above analysis, I have evaluated that I faced both positive and negative situation. In
context with positive situation, as my strengths was very helpful in both health and
human science. I had proper knowledge of both due to which I was flexible enough to
deal with changed technologies also. But due to certain weaknesses like lack of creativity
various negative situations also got arise. So, I learned that with the help of specific
strengths we can deal with certain kind of weaknesses. Conclusion: - It means to think about whole situation again and share the experience.
From the above analysis, my experience was good but to improve in a better way I need
to develop certain other skills also so that same problems don't arise in future. I will
improve my soft skills as well as public speaking skills which is very important for
student so I need to develop that.
Action: - It means to take some actions in order to deal with similar situations. As my
weakness was that I was not much effective in public speaking so now to improve I will
take more part in debates so my weakness can turn into my strength.
