INTRODUCTION
Positive psychology is a new form of psychology which displays the person's positive
feelings and its influences which makes them to drive a successful future ahead. The report will
illustrate a reflection in which it has been discussed the career plans and aim to be successful in
the future.

Reflection
There is no better time to become a social worker. Social workers help people, society,
community and every human creature to resolve any problems via wide ranges of media
coverage and advances skills or techniques(Du, and et.al, 2018). I want to help people and solve
their obstacles. In childhood, I saw my grandfather to help needy and helpless people, from him I
was influenced to become a social worker in the future. Becoming a social helper needs to have a
communication skill, and I was so bad in connecting with people. At my college time, I used to
be nervous and hesitated in classroom and always fear of getting insulted. I always used to think
that while communicating with people and professors they will make a bad judgement for me.
Social workers have a responsibility of understanding, learning and communicating with
an individual or group of people acknowledge their obstacles and issues which they are suffering
in their daily livelihood. One day a person come over to me that he needs help as his children has
left him on an unknown road and city. The old man was so much tired and frightened at it was
totally a new place for him. Because of the lack communication skills I was not able to make a
clear speech to him. I tried to make a conversation effective from which I can get a proper
understanding of and help him. As I was too not able to connect with him I have to decided to
take him to the old-age home.
Next morning, I take him to the old-age home where he can live peacefully and also
makes a report in police station to find out his son and its demographics. That day I realized that
communicating with people are so important to help them. I was so much dedicated and
ambitious to become a social helper, so I needed to improve my communicating skills. For
enhancing these skills it includes active listening, frank nature, confidence, sharing thoughts,
clear speech, respect and always have a broad mind-set. I decided to learn and improve my all
communicating skills(Kelly, A., 2018). Firstly I made an analysation of myself to know the

threats in me and what kind of skills I require. Slowly I made a swot analysation which creates
skills like good listener, honest, creative and determined.
Active listening makes my mind attentive and focused on the particular objectives which
creates a valuable and effective understanding of what people will trying to say. Most of the
time, people were so much frightened and have no strength to stand out for themselves their
speech will not understandable but through active listening I was able to capture their thoughts
and can give an effective solution(Lin, Mao, and et.al, 2021). In addition, confidence also plays a
vital role in the performance. As I was so much nervous at my college time, I need to raise my
confidence level. People who are in problems are already not focused and tensed, in this situation
if I am feeling nervous and expecting the bad results due to my demotivation then how can I help
them.
I used to choose a method of analysing myself and started raising the motivation in
myself. After that incident, I used to improve my skills and help another people to make them
feel free. Communication plays a major role in society in every department either its
management, accounting or a social worker life. Connecting with people make a better
knowledge. After this strategy, I improved my communication skills in approximately six
months which makes me feel motivated and strengthen and also makes my speech clear and
understandable. Along with this, it helps to make a better relationship with people, makes a clear
vision and mission, increase the motivation power and makes a respect in society.
CONCLUSION
The report is illustrating the concept of career plan action in a reflection form to
understand it in a better way(Tufte, 2017). It also describes the importance of communication
skills in any career life which helps people to understand the value and its effective results to
utilize in their personal life as well professional life.
