INTRODUCTION
Portfolio and skill reflection is essential as this assist in personal development of the
individual during the learning of module (Thomas and et.al., 2018). This is essential as this will
provide a better evaluation of person in terms of their skill and knowledge. The present study
will outline the different challenges and learning from these challenges and further reflection on
different skills will be undertaken. In the end the action plan to improve working will be
addressed.
MAIN BODY
The challenges
There are many different types of challenges which are being faced at time of managing
the business and the portfolio. Hence, all these challenges affect the business and its management
to a great extent. This is particularly because of the reason that when the company will be facing
the issues and challenges then this will affect many aspect of business.
The major challenge is the apprentice challenge which aim at enhancing the
communication skill and try to make the team more creative in their thinking (Apprentice
challenge team building for hire, 2021). These are the challenges which are created in order to
train the employees in such a manner that they are first provided with some challenges and by
overcoming these challenges the employees learn different things. With this I learnt that this
challenge is created in branding so that in order to solve the challenge the employees come up
with more creative and better solutions.
Further another challenge is of presentation under which the company tries to create
errors for employees for presenting the data. This is particularly an important challenge as this
will build the understanding of employees in giving better presentation among other people. The
major learning of me from this is that this challenge will assist in personal development as I will
be able to communicate in better manner with others.
The major learning from the T- shirt challenge is that this enhanced the knowledge
relating to the marketing of product online and the different ways of competing with the online
alternatives available (Lamond, 2018). This challenge is a great learning for the branding angle
of business as this challenge will clear all the doubts relating to the marketing of the product and
services on the online business.

All these challenges affect the focus of business to a great extent. This is pertaining to the
fact that when these challenges are solved then this result in improvement in working efficiency
of employees and overall company as well.
Reflection
The overall journey of e-portfolio is quite interesting because it provides me an
opportunity to show my creativity. Though I face many challenges while designing this because
it was my first project and most of the terms I do not know how to attain (Tikhomirova and
Kochetkov, 2017). While designing such I improve my presentation skills because it required
specific website and this assist me to improve my knowledge pertaining to e-portfolio. Apart
from this I also raise my business skills and competencies such that I learn how to use Excel
while designing any portfolio. Earlier I do not know, but I realized that while branding,
presentation challenges helps to reflect the brand image of the firm in front of others and also
attract range of customers as well. Beside this, I raise my team work abilities because we
perform in a team, where I examined that working in a team is more beneficial instead of
working individually. It is so because it helps us to share ideas and opinion that assist to solve
any query and reach towards proper conclusion.
In addition to this, there are many challenges which I faced during the e-portfolio
designing but working in a team helps me to get a chance to understand others opinion and
interact with other as well. Also, I analysed that I possesses low communication skill and that is
why, I feel nervous and not able to share my view easily. Further, there is a need to improve this
skill because to attain my desired goal, it is essential to have strong communication skill. Such
that business effectively run when it’s all functional unit support it and this is further lead by the
manager or senior authority. Similarly, the person at top position must have strong oral
communication so that they easily express their views to others and take a business at further
level of success.
Moreover, while assessing challenges, I also analysed that I do not have strong time
management skills, whereas my team members possess it, due to having extra work which
hamper my priority task in adverse manner. Also, due to possess low communication skill, I do
not interact easily with other member and this in turn cause wrong impression towards other.
Such that apprentice challenge also main aim is to enhance the communicative skill and motivate
team to come up with innovative ideas (Schartel Dunn and Lane, 2019). As we are working in a

team and that is why, everyone should know how to delegate the roles and responsibilities within
team to attain the defined task. On the other side, I also realized that through the entire e-
portfolio, I examined some strength that assist me to deliver the project in proper way. Whereas,
I also identified two weakness i.e. communication and time management skills that cause
opposite impact upon the business. Therefore, by evaluating the challenges for different business
operations, I am able to evaluate myself in terms of skills and will start work to improve my
weakness as well, so that it will help me in my future goals.

CONCLUSION
By summing up above report it has been concluded that there are three types of
challenges faced while developing e-portfolio such that T-shirt, apprentice and presentation
challenges which is interlinked with branding and financing. Further, the study also concluded
the reflection in which it has been identified that communication and time management are
considered weakness while team work, presentation skills are recognized as a strength.
Therefore, to improve the same, action plan has been developed that assist to improve the skills.
