Reflective Assignment: Analyzing Feedback and Improving Performance

REFLECTION
After completing my assignment I was confident enough that this would help me out to
achieve good grades for this project. But the result from tutor were totally different as teacher
need more specific and accurate research information from my side to the relevant topic that
fulfil the requirement of task. In my assignment there were lots of mistake such as grammatical
error, underlying concepts, lack of knowledge, not use of proper theories in respect to answer of
some questions. I was in a hurry to accomplish my project on time which resulted in similarity of
35% which was a major setback for me. Tutor provided me number of feedback comments that
was needed to be addressed as per the criteria that support to increase the quality of work. I had
failed the task on the grounds of suspected misconduct and collusion and lack of appropriate
literature cited in project. There was no other way left for me than to make amended in my
knowledge and behaviour to achieve pass criteria.
After that I need to be more focused and attentive towards my work as this would be last
possibility for me to score a pass and attain better understanding of skills and knowledge. Tutor
set specific criteria to perform each task and addressed question in proper manner that will
increase my knowledge and overall improvement in my work. In my reassigned work it is my
responsibility to proof read the content again and again so that error are determined and rectified
on time and better marks are achieved. In order to addressed the subsequent feedback I started
reading journals, different articles, books related and research different website to gain perfect
knowledge about the topic “Understanding self and other”. While attempting comments I kept in
mind that this would be my last chance to pass so I focus to maintain quality work in my entire
project through secondary research and providing evidence of the same. I put all my knowledge
and focus towards use of good English work, better grammar and make sure that line make a
proper senses. By giving equal importance to each of my tutor comments that help me out to
create better project. As per the tutor suggestion I took guidance from my fellow mates and
resources which were available on Moodle to thoroughly understand the concepts and attempt
answer appropriately.. To maintain the better work I divide my whole work into different steps
and that are beneficial for me to have proper research to the relevant topic such as assertiveness,
team working etc. So with the proper clarification of topic and having sound knowledge that help
me to bring confidence and deliver better outcome to fulfil the feedback comments. Thus it was
observed that completing task with proper guidelines and as per the standard help to achieve pass

marks in my project and gain meaningful knowledge that improve also affect my personal
attitude.
