INTRODUCTION
Health and social care organisation involves various organisations that helps in providing
health and social care to the people. The health and social care professionals plays an significant
role in increasing the overall effectiveness of the industry as they are providing the care to the
people. It is very important for the health and social care professionals to continuously reviewing
their practice and professional development. The present report will discuss about the importance
of reflection in health and social care practise. The report will include the skill audit of the health
care professional with tools and models.
TASK 1
P1. Explaining the purposes of reflection in health and social care practices.
The SWOT analysis is tool that will helps to conduct the things in better mode so that managers,
nurse can have the direction and perform their role in proficient manner. This comprehensive
analysis has been conducted in the following manner as are-
Strength-
My teammates said that one of the my greatest strength is to planning and organizing the
things at the time of providing care to patients I use to conduct each thing within set
deadline so that they can get cure from their issues soon (Ghaye and Lillyman , 2014 ).
I have good relationship with workers and this helped me to bring improvement in every
day operations of the structure.
Being the team leader, I have ability to lead the team in right direction so that all together
we can achieve are desired outcomes.
Weakness-
I think my biggest issues in relation to conduct multiple task at a one time and due to this
sometime I get the bad results.
Being team leader I realized that the elementary knowledge and experience of
management leads to have poor results in managing the things and provide greater
assistance to patients.
The staff do not have clear idea about their role so this kind of activities leads to have
poor coordination among the work (Hernandez and et.al., 2013).
My communication skills is not good so I do not able to make my mates understandable.

Being the active team lead, I can able to organise and plan events in order to provide
better health and social care services for the needy people.
I will have the use of modern computer so that can assist me to bring improvement in the
internal working of the structures.
With the help of good team supports and providing training I can able to collaborate with
the number of volunteer organizations.
Threat-
The financial crisis and economic recession can impact the collection of the social funds.
This can also affects the working of the entity (Holloway and Galvin, 2016).
Thus, I can say that increasing in the number of the needy people can cause the
difficulties in terms to providing effective care to the people.
The funding problem may also impact over my team and this can be affected so it is
essential to provide the greater services and be volunteered with respective umber of
charities.

Reflection helps in providing an effective feedback in order to evaluate our own
performance. It helps in evaluating and reflecting on our own action as engaging in the process
of continuously. It helps in paying the proper attention to the practical values which helps in our
own development.
I have chosen the SWOT analytical tool for audit of my knowledge and skills. SWOT
analysis is an effective tool that has helped in reflecting the strength that I posses as a health care
professional, Weaknesses that I have to improve in order to develop. The tools also helpful in
analysing the opportunities that are available in order to develop my professional skills (Schwab

which leads the health care professional to learn from their own experiences. It helps the

important source of personal professional development that as a health care professional we
have.
From the SWOT analysis of my skills and knowledge, it has helped me in determining
the strongest factor that I have. The strength of planning and organising the timing will help me
in my continuous learning and developing. I have healthy relationship that will help in getting
guidance whenever I required. My most important strength is leadership that will help me in
getting a head in my career as health care professional. Although, with the SWOT analysis, I also
realises the weaknesses that I have, and have to improve it. I evaluate that my I have to improve
