My Journey at Yorkshire Building Society
During my work experience at Yorkshire Building society, I was very fortunate to get experience
from that kind of reputed company. That was ons of the great experience I have learned in
different ideas in general process. I was worked as the executive in the company that was never
imagined by me also I can say that I have worked for 4 years which is quite good for me. During
the initial period I get nervous because I never work before in this sector, then I realize that how
important to get that kind of opportunity. There are 10 branches in UK, in which I have worked
with two then both the branch manager were very strict during the first year and helped me a lot
to learn how to work. After being introduced myself with everyone. My colleagues were come to
me in order to introduce themselves and helped me to get my position in the office. Everyone
was very supportive in order to participate with every action. Also, they recommended that what
to do and how to do? At some times I get frustrated doing the work in the peak season of
workload but my colleague helped me to faces the situation in better manner. They were happy
tos helped me in contributing as much as I want. This instantly made me feel comfortable and
definitely made me feel as though part of them. Then Bupa was one of my favourite colleague
who helped me a lot in order to motivate me while I was feeling low. Also, he was very active in
the work journey very positive person I have ever met. Also, the best part is with all the perks
and benefits you get with YBS one of the best is the health benefits with Bupa. I was suffered
from 3 years in order to be on NHS I know that that place is not for mine but with Bupa I have
had done 3 operation that were becomes important part of my life to life back with quality.
Further, that situation build confidence in me which is very important part of my life that I have
never thought. At one day one I was selected to the best executive from my branch which is one
of the best part of my life to get the opportunity like this in order to improve my skill and
knowledge regarding the work. Also, I feel like a different person & I want to thank YBS for
giving me my life back and the opportunity to work for an amazing company. Moreover, my
communications was improved by communicate with every one in English its helps to improve
my vocabulary as well. I get the idea how to deal with different operation and work accordingly
to be better for every day. Then I have understood how team building is important for us to learn
new things at that kind of reputed company which was dream for many people.
