INTRODUCTION
Reflective practices are known as ability to reflect one an individual actions for
engagement in particular processes in order to maintain effective learning. This process can be
related to the importance of paying critical attention for the practical values of theories which are
used by people on every day basis (Kumar, 2019). These practices are examine practices that can
be used by the people to improve the self learning capacity and perform personal development.
This is reports about the reflective practices by individual person in nursing and health care
organization. for the process of reflecting personal experience Gibb’s Reflective cycle will be
used to explain reflection in more effective way. On the basis of the reflective cycle various
needs will be analysed in the report that can be considered by the people for personal
development plan. There are different short term, medium term and long term goals will be
developed in the report that can be used by the people to implement personal development plan
in effective manner.

Gibb’s reflective cycle model help or encourage the people to think systematically about
their experience in particular operation of process. by following reflection cycle individual
person can help individual to analyse the experience from various perspective in order to
improve the learning. This process can help the individual person to effectively understand the
situation and analyse self actions in order to improve personal actions in such same conditions.
Description
This experience I have face in the initial year in the organization when I was placed into
the record managing department in the organization. I have faced this experience at Morecambe
Bay nursing Home. My work in the nursing home is to provide assistance to the senior people in
managing information that is need to be managed in the organization. on the regular basis there
is different type of information need to be collect, store, process and distributing among the
people who might require these information in order to maintain various practices effective in the
organisation (Bresler and Stake, 2017). Different people were working in the organization and
most of the people in the organization are related to the nursing field. Initially have faced trouble
in the process and manage the record in effective manner. I have faced lack of experience in the

mistakes in the record keeping and managing due to lack of knowledge of the operations that are
currently using in organization. All the working have done was related to the management of the
record according to the guidance of the senior manager in the record keeping department
(Fletcher, 2017). This is how I have started working in the information management department.
some of the work I have not done in the department which is transaction of the data and
information which is a complex process and new people or trainees were not allowed to perform
such job. People who were senior to me in the department have provided me the guidance to me
in the starting time to guide me in effective manner. They have not put a lot pressure on me to
provide exposure to the work that is performed in the organization on daily basis. This process
has provided me enough information about the operations that are performed by the record
keeping department very frequently.
Feelings
The experience before this situation was quit exiting for me because this is very difficult
for me to understand the job I need to perform in nursing organization to provide support to other
people within the organization to reduce their work load and provide them opportunity to
perform their work more efficiently (Fletcher, 2017). I was uncertain about my role in the
organization and it was challenging for me to perform my job effectively in the organization. At
the time I was performing my work in effective manner. At that time I was some sort of confused
due to the complexity of the information that is managed in the department? Some of the
operation were known to me and I was good at those tasks. But some of tasks were quite difficult
to perform in the department with in the appropriate time. After performing I was feeling that it
was really interesting to work with different type of people in a nursing and health care
organization. I was feeling that I have learned a lot things that can help me to grow in future.
This is experience was good at nursing care organization. Other people who might have faced the
same conditions and also they might have feel the same as I have felt in the situation. Because
this is similar for all people to face same conditions in performing some tasks.

There are a lot positive things happened with me that can be considered as good
experience. In my opinion I have learned a lot of things that can be used later in professional
career in order to develop personal and professional skills. I have learned about many
technologies and techniques that are used by the business organization to get better response in
