Description: The preliminary time period of any occupational group field is very much
exhausting for anybody along with difficult to handle the situation in complete manner. Initially
when I was started to work in home care center under consideration of various nurses and
doctors in the emergency scenario, I used to work for 6 days a week. The timings within the
hospital are very much stringent which was around 8 hours per day i.e. from 9AM to 5PM. The
work load within the hospital is much higher than the personnel staff they have within their
establishment. This was also the basic reason that the staff members are felt sometimes highly
frustrated in order to serve their best to the patients (Jefferies and et.al., 2018). Apart from this,
they also continuously reduced the number of staff members substantially and the wellness staff
members was under uninterrupted emphasis as they had to provide services to so many patients
at a particular point of time which was felt next to impossible for all of us. But somehow we
managed but such conditions are creates the culture of frustration among the staff members and

obstructions in the health and social care. Therefore, it is important that all the subject areas
through which the conversation takes place pertaining to the medical condition of the patient, the
health care results and the treatment has been explained in English to the patient as well as the
concerned members. Some other constructive point that had been added in my portfolio was the
great social and abstraction abilities. With these skills, I was able to interact appropriately with
patients as well as their family members. It helped me to deliver best services to all my patients.
Apart from this, I had learnt that irrespective of people behaviour and perception of taking
things, one have to continuously try to handle the situations and never step back because of
grouping and doing job with the people who are equally capable to the individual. There are
many incidences which I have experiences in which I had to pair up for tasks with the people or
members who try to constantly let me down in every situation but irrespective of that I did my
best of the efforts and did great job within the enterprise. One of the destructive traits that I have
discovered within myself was not being able to pull out the medical history of the patient.
Exigency nurses must have this ability of physical assessment and took health history (Aken,
2018). The reason can be the demand of the nurses as there had been shortage of nurses since
very long duration of time period within the hospital. Another negative quality that I possessed
was lack of good culture within the hospital due to which I understood the importance of
maintaining good culture within the workplace because it help a lot to each and every employee
or worker to do their tasks in highly productive manner. Although initially all such things
drastically affected my capability and productivity but later or sooner, I was able to adjust myself
