INTRODUCTION
Reflection is considered as a procedure which is useful regarding the self assessment and
overall development of an individual. An individual conduct self -assessment in order to analyse
their own strengths and weaknesses for their future growth and personality development. It is
useful in order to set suitable vision regarding the performance criteria.
Reflection consider the divergent thinking it is useful in self assessing the performance in regard
of developing various skills at a time within the given period of time. In this report the reflection
is based on the suitable development of specific areas of skills and effective analysis in order to
develop knowledge and learning of an individual with the help of proper guidance and direction
(Rogers, 2018).

Reflective commentary can be describe as the analytical process where writer analyse and
describes a real or imaginary event, scene, memory, observation, passing thought, and give it to a
meaningful sense through his personal reflection and learning from these incidents.
Team work skills
One of the most important element of learning in reflective commentary is team work
skills. These skills plays a significant role in academic and professional success and are most
sought after skills in the workplace and other areas. Team work skills allow an individual to
work and coordinate well with the team members in projects, meetings, conversations and other
collaborations. Team work skills develops an ability of an individual to communicate well,
effective listening along with integrity and honesty. These skills are essential in accomplishing
career goals, developing and resume and contribute effective towards the organisational success
as these skills permits individual to work in an empathetic, efficient and responsible manner
(Gonzalez Arocha, 2020). There are generally seven types of team work skills that contribute
towards the success of an individual and an organisation which are, communication, problem-
saving, time-management, critical thinking, effective listening, collaboration and leadership.
Well-developed team work skills boost the understanding level of an individual which helps in
reducing and managing conflicts and fights at workplace. An individual come across with

different types of people at working place and other environment, by having a good and effective
team working skills help the individual in developing a sense of unity and consider everyone as a
part of family. These skills largely contribute in building strong relationship with their working
partners that in turn result in creating healthy and positive working environment (Darcy, 2019).
Stress Management
Before describing stress management it is essential to have a brief knowledge about stress
and causes of stress. In daily routine life, people come across with many challenges and
situations which cause a concern with regards to deal with them, rise in concern level is referred
as stress. Constant change is a part of life, which can be related with daily activities like
commuting from home to office, or major life changes like marriages, divorce, loss of job, birth
and death of loved one, stress is responding to these upheavals. Stress is embedded in daily life
of a people cannot eliminated utterly. Furthermore, stress management deals with removing of an
unnecessary stress and managing effectively others in daily life. Sources of stress could be many,
which are called ā€œstressorsā€, some people are stressed by loss of job, or issues in personal or
family relationship or due to the financial reasons and health issues. It basically depends on the
perception level of an individual, how an individual manage the situation, for some it’s a merely
challenge whereas for some people it’s great reason to worry. There are many ways in which a
stress of an individual could be controlled. Companies have numerous stress management
programmes, one of them is individual intervention where employees are observed over a period
of time to identify the source of stress and necessary measures are taken through developing
social support. Another way to deal with the stress is to conduct a counselling programmes
which help in reducing psychological arousal associated with the stress. By having an effective
stress management an individual develops a series of activities which helps in eradicating
unnecessary and manage the crucial one which develops a healthy, positive life and individual
feel less anxious (Walshe, and Driver, 2019).
Curriculum Vitae
CV or curriculum vitae is an essential document which reveals and personal, academic
and professional details of a candidate who is out for looking for a job in an organisation.
Meaning of curriculum vitae can be understood as ā€œcourse of lifeā€, briefly it is a detailed
document which represents summary of academic and professional over a certain period of time.
In this competitive world it is essential for an individual to have a well-structured CV that could

curriculum vitae demonstrate the capabilities and abilities of an individual to be a future potential
employee of any organisation. Good CV presentation skills required an individual to be good
communicator with strong writing skills. Writing skills helps in presenting an information about
academic and profession history in a chronical manner so as to give a meaningful sense to a
curriculum vitae. Quality, clarity, usefulness and relevancy are the key attributes of good writing
skills which is developed and implemented in designing and creating an organised curriculum
vitae.
Analysis of performance:
From above mentioned information, it is evident that team work, stress management and
curriculum vitae skills plays a significant role in the personal development. These skills pave a
path for success and growth for an individual in working and professional life equally. As I have
discussed above the importance of team working skills, these skills works closely in the personal
growth and development (Khaled, 2018 (Farrell, 2020). Communication comes under sub
category of team work skills, one of my greatest weakness was lack of confidence and
communication which is slowly and gradually developed over a course of time. Team work
provides an opportunity to interact with distinct type of individual talent which provides a
chances of learning and development through their knowledge and expertise. On the other hand,
one of my biggest strength is time-management which is another sub category of team working
skills. An effective and well managed time have always permitted me to stay disciplined,
positive and ease in managing complex task. Working on a team we have move as per the pace

and speed of an each and every individual, therefore an effective time management helps in
completing work on time. Stress management is crucial aspect so as to create and maintain a
positive working environment. With the stress management skill I am able to eliminate
unnecessary stress from my life and have begun to focus on positive aspect of life which gives
me positive energy and confidence. Stress management suggests the ways to eliminate
unnecessary stress from life by means of breathing techniques, cycling, music, reading and much
more. Lastly, a good and well-structured helped me in developing good presentation skills with
complete relevancy and quality (Cheng, and Chan, 2019). One of my strength in this aspect was
good writing skills which have gave me preference and made me stand unique as compared to
other candidates. Use of right keywords, information, and well structure helps contribute in
creating well organised and meaningful curriculum vitae.
Conclusion
From the above stated information it is concluded that reflective commentary is an
analytical process in which a writes describe an event, incident, interaction, memory or a passing
thought so to give a meaning to the essay or writings through personal observation, learning
outcome and reflection. The aspect works closely on the learning outcome rather than a
descriptive process. Writer while describing the events keeps few points in mind for example,
what did I notice? What would I have done if I were in a particular situation or in place of
particular person? Reflective commentary involves a cognitive process where a writes express
his/her opinion, beliefs and experience related with the incident. Generally reflective
commentary are written and expressed in first person and one of the most personal styles of
writings. Major characteristic of reflective commentary is reflection, evidence and clarity,
reflective writing consist of description of an event or incident, interpretation based on the
personal experience and how these experience have contributed towards overall personal and
professional development.
