Introduction
Decision making is the process of identification and the planning regarding the needs,
preferences, values and the beliefs of a person. It is highly dependent on the cognition level of
the person. There are possibilities of different or alternative ways for a specific process or work
and choosing the most effective process for the work is important and the decision regarding the
process is dependent on the thought process and the assessment of the decision maker. Thus, it
has been seen that there are different decision making tools present and it is important to choose
the most effective decision making tool (Restall et al. 2017). In the following section I will
compare the decision making tools and develop decision regarding a suitable musical course
joining through reflection.
Major Decision
Everyday we need to decide different ways for the daily works. Hence, we should assess
and decide on the factor of the effectiveness of the process with consideration of time
effectiveness and also the financial aspects along with other subsidiary factors. I have been
taking my academic classes and I have a knack for musical knowledge. Hence, I should decide
on the effective course regarding music which can help me develop knowledge with all the
feasible contexts. It also can be marked as my extra curriculum activity. Taking the correct
decision regarding the course should be considered by me. Hence, I should assess the contexts of
feasibility of the course and also logically analyse my intuition for proceeding with the course.
Intuitive decision has been focused by me in this context and these needs to be done with the gut
feeling and also the effective analysis (Arfaoui et al. 2019). I have always loved music and end
up in viewing several videos regarding music development analysis. Hence, based on my
intuition I have chosen the music classes besides my academics. Now, after choosing the course I

have to decide major factors related to the music course focusing on the effectiveness of the
course in my daily life. I was confused about the best course for me to learn music. Thus, I had
to implement a rational decision making tool. This tool with consideration of multiple factor
analysis can be marked as one of the most effective and bias free decision making tool (Aldamiri
et al. 2018).
Evaluation
Intuitive decision making is the process which allows me to think about myself, my
preferences and also the effective analysis of own needs and priorities (Okoli and Watt 2018).
Hence, I can state that the intuitive decision making helps in the process of the logically balance
the effective decision regarding the extra curriculum planning. Moreover, I can also state that the
extra time I have in a day can be used for learning the music and also effectively divert my mind
set from the stresses. Thus, I can find it is feasible for me to understand and implementation of
my extra time. It also helps me in pushing me towards learning about music more and more
every single day. Thus, I can find the way of using my time and also developing self efficacy.
The decision also focused on the effective analysis of the financial and also other factors which
leads to the development of the self efficacy and confidence build up regarding my decision
making skills.
Analysis
I always have a passion for music. It helps me in calming down and also an urge for
learning. I can find that the music is one of the most effective factors in my life developing
knowledge and also helps me understand my feelings. Hence, I also can find that my decision
making skills can be improved considering the effectiveness of music learning. In this context, I
can analyse and find that, the intuitive decision-making and the rational decision making tool

help me in learning and also effectively balance my emotion and the logical aspects properly
(Kaufmann, Wagner and Carter 2017). The gut feelings and the liking towards the music push
me to the efficacy development of me in managing the factors regarding the learning. On the
other hand, the rational decision making tool will be helpful in analyse the information and also
critical thinking regarding rationalise choice development based on the alternate option rule out
(Haghani and Dewey 2016). Moreover, it has been seen that the process of the decision making
in the business world can be done with the help of the rational decision making tool which is
effective decision making regarding the strategy management and also goal setting of the
organisation (Zander et al. 2016). In addition to this process of the decision making through
intuition and rational decision making tool if the decision tree and the computer modelling can
be implemented then the risk of bias regarding feelings can be reduced. Thus, all these aspects
collectively help in the development of the effective decision focusing on the objectives.

Feedback
After taking the decision regarding the musical course I have shared my experience and
also the knowledge regarding the decision making process with my classmates. They have
acknowledged my work and the decision making process. However, the process of the decision
making with the intuition would be focused on the personal thinking and preferences and also
logically balancing the factors of the context. On the contrary, the rational decision making tool
works on the effective information and multiple sources to confirm the decision regarding the
arithmetical way without considering the feelings or the preferences of the decision maker. Thus,
it can be marked as the negative aspect of the tool (Houk 2019). Though, using both the factors

that is rational decision making tool and the intuitive model of decision making will develop a
logical and balanced decision without any bias.
Conclusion
Based on the above reflection of my actions I can conclude that the action and decision
making helped me in effective experience gaining in the process of decision making. Moreover,
this experience also helped me in the decision making tool using and gaining knowledge about
the tool as well. However, the factor of the decision tree analysis was difficult and it also focuses
on the bias free decision making. Thus, I can state that this experience helped me in developing
enough knowledge and experience regarding effective decision making.
Action of Plan
After implementing the models for decision making I can state that this process is time
consuming. However, I would like to use the decision making models in the future aspect of the
daily life. The decision making tree with the consideration of the rational decision making tool
and also the intuitive decision making model will be used by me for the interactive processes for
the daily life processes.
