INTRODUCTION
In this competitive era, it is important to have employability so that success is achieved.
Employability is defined as process of achieving employment through using skills, understandings,
attributes(Aliu, 2019). It is essential to have a employability skills so that individual is able to get
employment. Main aim of this report is to examine essentials of employability. This report
comprises of five areas & SMART targets of each of following.
MAIN BODY
To gain employment, it is essential to achieve & improve skills as well as knowledge in
proper manner. Without improving or using of skills, it is difficult to get a job in marketplace. SO,
there are various types of skills which are needed & require improvement that are mentioned
below-
Communication skills-
Incorporate world, communication play important role as because it help in understanding
information as well as transferring of message between others easily. It is most important essential
of employability which is needed by me & require improvement. This is also seen that through
proper improving areas of communication such as clearly speaking, using numeracy effectively,
sharing of information (Chalabi, 2017).
Strength-
Main strength of interpersonal skill of communication is that I speak clearly to others while
sharing information.
Weakness-
In this, weakness is that it requires to communicate I need proper attention of others which is
difficult for me to address (Chowdhury, 2016).
SMART Target-
Specific- This objective reflects that it is essential to have a appropriate goal which has an
end point. In this interpersonal skill of communication, the objective is specific to improve both oral
& verbal communication.
Measurable- This states that objective need to be measurable so that progress &
performance is determined. In this skill, improvement of objective is in progress & has adequate
performance. Through proper measuring, it is easier to make decisions for further process.
Attainable- It is also essential to set goal which is easily achievable. In my perspective, my
goal is easily achievable. This is because I am a quick learner & this allows me to make adapt
improvements at rapid scale.

Relevant- The objective which has been set by is relevant to my field which is increase
reliability level. It is necessary to develop relevant goals so that they are easier to achieve.
Time bound- When objective is set, it is needed to set a time frame for achieving every
activity on time period. The goal of improving communication skills is on time & it reflects that
activities are going according to set time. For example- to manage this objective I will be managing
time scale of every activity which assist me accomplishing of set objective.
Reflection
Communication skills are required at priority level in my field of business administration.
My ability such as understanding of others point of view, sharing of information confidentially,
assist me in achieving my objectives properly. According to my mentors, they have given positive
feedbacks on my ability communicate with others. Further, they too reflects that my assents need
improvement to get employability in MNC'S firm (English, 2020). Also, it is to examined that there
need to be improved on my written communications as my oral communications are pretty good.
There are many challenges which I found while achieving of my objective such as lack of attention,
use of jargon in language, difference in understanding of others viewpoint. To overcome with these
challenges, I will be attending seminars & webinars, which assist me in how to deal with others
point of view. Also, through proper reducing less jargon I can improve my communication abilities.
Therefore, it has been stated that it is essential for me to be aware about these challenges so that it is
easier for me to SMART target on basis of which my goals of improving this interpersonal skills get
improved. In employability, mostly in field, communicating effectively is essential without whioch
work cannot be carried out.
Team work
In corporate sector, it is another interpersonal which is needed & have to get improved to
achieve appropriate level of employability. A team work is necessary to be present within individual
attributes so that they are able to adjust at workplace. In organisation, group assignments, task &
other activities are performed with two or more than people which enhance requirement of team
work. Moreover, this skill is beneficial for personal growth as it help in accessing & adjusting with
work environment & team situations (Kerr, 2017).
Strength
Main strength of this interpersonal skill is that through properly managing team work it is
easy to get work done within period of time.
Another strength is that it is useful for team based work profile such as project manager,
team leader etc.

In team work, due to difference in opinions & attributes of every team member, it impact
upon behaviour of a particular person.
SMART Target
Specific- The objective of improving set objective which is to improve team work skills
within 4 months is reliable. It is necessary to be specific so that goal are accomplished effectively.
Measurable- This set objective & goal is measurable as I am measuring this through taking
team work projects & working with team. After completion of project I determined about my level
understanding of working with others (Lanzano, 2017).
Achievable- The objective of improving & developing of my interpersonal skill which is
team work is achievable & as because I have ability to adjust according to situations. Further, this is
too examined that it is necessary to achieve this in correct way.
Time Bound- This element is necessary as it reflects that whether objective is being able to
achieve time scale or not. It is essential for me to ensure that time scale is being managed
effectively. Thus, it is examined that the set goal of improving team work is on time period.
Reflection- Team work
Interpersonal skills are essential part of employability. It is necessary to use them with
effective manner. Team work refers to working with team to achieve common desired goals. This
interpersonal skill is needed to be presented mas it help in achieving of employability. Further, this
is too analysed that my mentors provided a reflection on my interpersonal skill of this team work
& stated that it is necessary for me to work according to team opinion not my own individual
opinion. Also, it is seen that to improve this skill I should critically understand team members &
their attributes (Miles, 2019). Furthermore, analyse & understand identify team members strengths,
use my multi-talking skills in different teamwork situations. For example- to do this I need to work
with every team members on different projects. On basis of this, it enhance my critically
understanding skills too. There are many challenges which arises while in process of improving
this skills such as conflicts & tension, not sharing credentials & lack of trust. Therefore, it is has
been evaluated that it is crucial for me to overcome with these challenges so that team work is
improved. There are many ways by which I can reduces these challenges such as through
development a trust between members & team which assist me in improving of team work skills in
efficient way. Through properly developing my interpersonal skills & knowledge it is easy to
achieve employability.
Leadership skill-
It is another skill which is require at priority level & need improvement higher level.
Leadership is needed in proper manner because it help in managing & handling of others decisions
to get work done properly.

This leadership skill increases morale & motivation of individual at higher scale.
Weakness-
This skill might negatively affects upon behaviour of person who is using it at workplace.
SMART Target
Specific- The developed objective is specific & reliable.
Measurable- The progress level of proposed aim is being measured through analysing of
number people who become followers of leader (Olojuolawe, 2019).
Achievable- It is achievable also as goal is to being develop leadership skill within six
months & manage 5 employees.
Relevant- It is relatable to my field & area as because as a background from business
administration I need to have these skills.
Time scale- The activities related to this development of skill are carried out on time
interval (Simões, 2018).
Reflection
In this, I have examined that my ;leadership skill are average & I need to improve them at
more higher level. I have also focused on my teachers opinion as they states that to be come a
leader I have to first be active & help others by understanding their problems. Issues which are
faced by this are mind set of people which is changeable. To deal with this issue, I am improving
my ability to examine behaviour of people.
Knowledge area-
Technical knowledge
It is also important area which is needed to develop by me in which my technical
knowledge is less such as use of ICT & languages such as networking & machine learning as I am
from technical background. Technical knowledge is necessary for me to develop as because it help
me to achieve employability in most effective way. According to mentors, they have also reflected
that to improve this are I need to develop focus & attention in field so that my knowledge is
improved at higher level.
Strength
Main strength of this area is that it assist in being competitive in market & gaining
competitive benefits.
Weakness
This technical knowledge are can impact upon my personality attributes & interpersonal
skills.

Specific- This purpose of developing of technical knowledge is clear and specific.
Measurable- To determine the progress, I will be applying my technical knowledge in my
projects on basis of which it is easy for me to determine performance.
Achievable- The proposed objective is easy to achieve as it is could be achieved via
accessing to gaining more information about technical field & machine learning through browsing
internet (Sisodia, 2019).
Relevant- This objective is also relevant to my field as I am from both business
administration & technical background & which makes it necessary for me to develop this area.
Time bound- In this element, it is essential to examine about activity whether they are
being everything is running on time or not. In development of technical area of knowledge
activities related to it are on time & as because team leader is monitoring everything properly.
Reflection-
The above specified area shows that I have ability of understanding critical things which
also depicts that I can improve my technical knowledge easily. Further, through this it is easy for me
to access & use sources of information which are related with technical field (Yadav, 2016).
Expertise area-
It is another area in which improvement is needed as because I am a fresher in my filed and
lack of experience. Through developing of expertise area, degree to achieve employability get
increase more at higher level. My mentors states on my this development area that there should be
experience of work, projects or internships so that employability is achieved without facing any
issue.
SMART
Specific- The achieving of expertise is specific & which also shows that it is not a vague.
Measurable- Measuring of this objective is done by number of projects, or internships
which has done by me during my course (Aliu, 2019).
Achievable- It is easily achievable objective because I have been already taking projects of
technical related fields which are top be completed within six months.
Relevant- It is actually related to my field because I am from technical background.
Time scale- The process & activities which are related with this are on time & I am
working on this improvement on daily basis.
Reflection-
The above specified shows that it is crucial to develop expertise area so that appropriate
employability is achieved. On basis of this, my teachers have made their opinion about my this

After analysis of above report, it has been concluded that essential of employability are
