Development of employability and study skills is very necessary task to me, because by
developing these skills, I will simply gain huge competitive advantage and success in personal
life (Thew, Thomas and Briggs, 2018). Recently I have participated in presentation, where I got
the task to make presentation on an effective leader of a multinational company, then I have
realised that, most leaders within different companies and businesses has very excellent
employability and study skills. These skills enable them to manage their daily operations in very
effective manner. This factor was really motivated me for developing own study and
employability skills as well. This recent presentation was really changed my life, because
currently I am fully aware about the implications of these skills.
After these all activities, I have conducted research on how oi develop these all skills of
employability and study, then I was found lots of effective methods and techniques which can
contribute in the development of all skills. Then I have conducted research on what are the key
employability and study skills, then I found that, communication skill (Written and Verbal), self
and time management ability, problem-solving skill, teamwork skill, research skill, and use of
ICTs are some key employability and study skills (Matsouka and Mihail, 2016). In this situation,
I was decided to develop these abilities or skills, because currently development of these skills is
one of key ways to me for gaining huge success in personal life. I have used different resources
as well, like; books and journals, internet etc. to effectively expand these all employability skills.
Feelings
On that time, I felt very professional, because I was fully aware about different
employability and study skills. I felt that, if I will be succeeded in developing these all skills,
then I can simply gain huge competitive advantage and success in any place. Of course, I have
focus on developing some other skills as well, like; leadership skill, management competence
etc. In this situation, I felt that I should be developed these skills as well including employability
skills. That recent presentation has completely aware me about lots of new things that, people
always value that person who has different well-developed skills. One of my colleagues said that,
currently different business organisations within market hires only those people within their
work place which has well-developed employability skills (Simplilearn, 2020). That’s why I
have taken huge interest in the last presentation, in the terms of developing different skills of
employability.

During covering recent presentation, I have felt that, there are every person has its own
abilities and skills, and then I have realised that, I have very excellent skills of communication
and I also have the ability to take effective decisions in any situation. These both skills or
abilities always plays very effective role to me, but in know that, having only these both skills
are not enough to gain effective outcomes in personal life. Then in that presentation task, I asked
to my colleagues that, how we can develop our different employability and study skills on time
and in effective manner (Tentama and Arridha, 2020). In this situation, one colleague said that,
currently there are thousands of informative videos available on the internet which only based on

Evaluation
According to my all learnings, no person can survive in this highly competitive market
without improving its different skills. Basically, skills and abilities or employability and study
mainly enable to different people within market place to gain huge competitive advantage

for developing our different abilities of employability and study. So that, I have to make an
effective action plan which will definitely contribute in the development of abilities. While
making this action plan, I have required to mention those all resources and activities which I can
need in the development processes. Nowadays, I have very excellent employability skills. This
was only possible just because of my lots of efforts in the presentation towards developing
different employability skills.

On the basis of above reflection, it can be concluded that this is very necessary or
mandatory to me for developing various employability and study skills called; communication,
decision-making, problem-solving etc. It can be also concluded that, these all skills enable us to
