REFLECTIVE ESSAY 2
Every person has shared the bond of family, at least at the time of birth. However, there are
certain people who share this family bond lifetime. For some people, bonding with family is very
essential and significant. I believe that the family means group, which contains the father, mother
and their kids living jointly like a unit (Becvar, 2013). I have well-read that the family only does
not mean the relation of blood. There are the people in family, who love you and care for you.
I have lots of memories regarding concern and love, by the family members like father, mother,
grandmother, grandfather and siblings. The feeling of protection and entirety is well remembered
by me. I came to know that person is not just right or ideal, every so often in the action and
expressions, however, getting the unconditional love and care that we are surrounded with by the
family keeps us grounded in our proper personality and real character (Parke and Ladd, n.d.).
Now, when I am older, I feel same protection that I felt in my childhood. My family is my
comfort zone where I feel happiness. I realize that family is a place where I am cared for and
loved. In this way, I strongly believe that the family is very significant element of the society. I
feel that family is like as backbone to keep a person on track. I love my family very much.
