REFLECTION
The event project was “Fun Games” which contain 4 types of games like Pictionary, go and garb,
tongue twister and karaoke. This event was conducting by the group of 8 people, the team was
responsible to perform several duties and responsibilities some of my main duties are preparing
meeting minute to manage the records of daily meeting time and discussions as well as
marketing of event by sending invitations through posting on social media, email on different
days to remind people and participants also (Gonçalves, K. 2019). Also I was accountable to
record and editing videos of the event and support in making the presentation mainly in
designing part so that it can be more attractive and demonstrates the event more perfectly.
During the time of performing in this event, I also make development or improvement in some of
personal strengths and skills. For example, each game performs in team so first I formed
effective team with the support of team development strength. This also enable me in developed
this strength because by analysing the performance of team during event, I can make
development in my team development ability. Along with this, I also make development in my
communication capability because during the time of performing Fun Games event, I
communicate with different people like participants and others who use different language so I
also make development in my communication skills. Also, my time management skill also
improved because to perform in game each team member has a certain time limit which assist me
in developing my this strength. For instance, performing tongue twister, person of each team
have 40 seconds of time so I make focus on this which support me in developing my this ability
(Bennion and et. al. 2020). Additionally, my management strength also improved as the
management of all team members is my duty so during performing this accountability, I made
enhancement in my managerial abilities. In order to this, Gibb’s reflection cycle also consider.

On the other hand, having all the above defined strengths, I have some shortcomings which
affected me during performing in the event of “Fun Games”. One of my key weakness is
problem solving because in this event I was accountable for all things which happened within it.
For example, during the time of Tongue Twister activity, some people of opposite team are said
that they take more time from the decided. This created issues for me in resolving issues from
both of team as they viewed about partiality (Contreras and et. al., 2020). In order to make
development in this area, I will read more case studies related to different cases which will
support me in developing this skill. Apart from this, another weakness is lack of communication
ability, due to having people from different place within the event, the languages which they
used was different. This create problem for me within the event because I faced issues in
understanding their talks. So to make improvement in this skill, I will join online coaching
classes which learn languages and help in improving communication skills. My other weakness
was decision making which affect me during the time of taking decision. For instance, during the
time of playing karaoke game activity, I was not deciding quickly that teammate’s decision
regarding the song or activity of this game is accurate. Some time I was confuse to do score. In
order to make development in it, I will solve puzzles and play some games which support me in
improving this shortcoming.
I will take different steps in to consideration in order to make improvement in my
weaknesses and shortcoming. In order to maintain the records of daily meeting time and
discussions I will prepare meeting minute. Along with this, to information people and creating
awareness about the events, I will use emails and social media to send invitations to remind
individuals about it. During the time of performing this event, I will record video and edit it so
that it will look attractive and better. Along with this, I support in making presentation mainly in
designing section, this will help in developing my presentation skill and assist in showing my
creativity. In order to convert weakness in to strength, I can follow or contains different steps
like, to make improvement in my communication skill, I can attend online classes and offline
communication improvement sessions organised by experts, this will assist me in developing my
this skill (Marvell and Simm, 2018). Additionally, to make development in my problem solving
skills, I can follow steps like using different case studies and in order to develop time
