Introduction
Assessment 2 was regarding the starting of the project for providing better strategies
regarding the repairing works as per the processing of renovation was needed. The reason of
performing this renovation is that the cottage needs to be in a better livable situation. This essay
will provide a background regarding the project that is based on of making this the repairing of
the beachside cottage. This essay will also provide the theories that will be provided as per the
requirement of the project. This essay will also be provide the contribution that was provided by
me as per the commencing of the project. This essay will be provide experience that I had during
completion of the project.
Background
This essay is regarding the provisioning of the reflecting regarding the renovation of the
cottage that is located in the beach side. The prime reason of the renovation process is to make
the same livable. This cottage is to be used by the Airbnb as a rental property. This ensures the
fact that better functioning of the cottage as per the prospect of the vacation spending standards.
A loan of $ 20,000 was confirmed. I have performed a stakeholder matrix that provides a better
understanding of the priority of the stakeholders. I have also performed the project
communication matrix for the project. I have also performed the work breakdown structure.
RACI chart also has been performed by me. This essay is mainly concerned regarding discussing
my contributions and the experience that I gathered in the process.
Linking theories with experience
The theories that I got accustomed with includes the theory of management. Under the set
of theory of management, I have understood the theory of planning. Theory of execution and

theory of controlling. In the theory of management, I have learnt that any project that ids to be
completed needs to be subdivided under the terminologies of the initiating, planning, execution,
controlling and the closing process. I have understood that under the theory of planning the main
aspect that is considered is conducting the analysis process before starting of the project as per
the knowledge that is gained from the PMBOK. I have learnt that the planning stage is again
subdivided in two parts, namely core processes and the facilitating processes. I have understood
that theory of execution is performed as per the planning stage. The processing of the execution
process needs to be performed as per the primary mechanism after receiving a written application
of authorization from the higher authority. The main issue that I have faced is that the allocating
of the assignment of the tasks or jobs as per the skills of the workers. Communication also have
been a major concern in this case. As per the theory of controlling the main concern that I was
focused includes comparing the outcome of the project with the standards that were set initially
during the initiation of the project. The performance of the project is also checked as per the
measure of input that is provided and the output that is received. I have also understood the
functioning process of the variance in between the standard of the project and the measured
value of the project.
Contribution
I have played a major role in the completion of the project. The main contribution that
was provided me includes performing of the project schedule. I have performed the project
schedule. This includes the fact that I have designed the planning phase of the project. I have
undergone several journals that have provided me with the idea of the processes that are to be
implemented for bettering of the construction process. I have also performed the RACI chart that
helps in proper evaluation of the site inspection. I have also performed the functional process of

designing the financial plan. The RACI chart that is created by me includes detailing of the
completion phase. The major advantage that id received includes better understanding of the
tasks that are needed to be performed and the owner of the phases. Scheduling of the project is
also performed by me. The main reason of this aspect being a success includes the fact that better
understanding of the activity node diagram for the repairing project is stated.
Experienced
The experience that I have enjoyed is very high. I feel that the experience gained by me
will be helping me in having a better carrier in future. The theories of the project management
are very clear to me. This makes me one of the major reason that provides better understanding
of the steps that are to be performed for better execution of the project. I have learned that proper
management of the projects require proper scheduling of tasks. I have also learned that the
allocating the workers as per their skills are also necessary. The steps that re required for
preparing of the schedule is also well understood. Performing of the budget planning is also
needed. I have also learnt that the steps that are required for performing the total cost of the
project. Proper understanding of the requirement gathering methods are also stated. I have also
understood the processing of the breakdown cost and performing of the breakdown and payback
period for performing that will be required for the payback period for the repairing of the entire
project. I have also learnt the processing of the cost benefit analysis. A better understanding of
the functional process of the CBA was also learnt by me.
Conclusion
From the above essay it was well understood that proper management of the project steps
are understood. This will help me in developing a proper knowledge area as per the commencing
of the business management. In case the commencing of project the main aspect that I have

performed includes better processing of the steps that enhances the carrier growth. With the help
of the project management methodologies, the beach side project renovation will be performed.
