INTRODUCTION
Academics skills plays an important role in the business practices and work towards the effective
achievement of the business objective. Reflections defines as a self reflected view which become
an important in element in any form of the study. It helps in developing own skills and
reviewing their effectiveness in a particular situation. In this essay I have chosen to write about
the various academics skills such as communication skills, time management skill and reading
skills which are learned during group presentation assessment.
MAIN BODY
Communication
Each and every person grow in the field of self development and reach their desired level
of result in their life, when I was in the 10th class I legged in the communication skills and feel
little nervous about speaking in front of the many peoples and my school teacher but slowly-
slowly I participated in various activities and speaks in front of many peoples in various
programs which results in improving my communication skills. During this situation I face many
consequences such laughing of my classmates when I speak anything which are not related to
particular point of view and that time I fell demotivated but still I was work in developing my
communication skills and after so many practices on the various programs about speaking on
some topics results in effective communication skills. After the group presentation assessment
response from my group members for me in terms of better performance and they all are said
you are the important part of our successful presentation, the reason behind that i have the great
experience in the communication skills so my communication skills too good as compared to my
other group members which helps in the accounting business practices for effective conversation
with them.
After the learning of communication skills, reading skill and communication skill I realized that
on one can reach desired level of result in their personal life as well as professional life and these
academic skills also plays an important role in the accomplishment of organizational practices.
During group presentation assessment I was also built better relationship with my all group
members and effectively present the presentation in front of the audience with the help of
effective communication skills.

When I was entered in the college I feel i have to develop my reading skills because there were
not any particular books for particular subject and it is the problem for me to developed the
reading skills because before this in have the books for every particular subject, through which I
can accomplish desired level of result but in college life there were I face the problem in
achieving good marks and in this situation I improve my reading skills through reading books in
my college library as well as preparing notes for the exams(Wagner and Torgesen, 2016). I use
my reading skills in the accounting business practices for learning the various formulas which
are essential for accounting work.
With the help of this academic skills such as communication skill, time management skill and
reading skill I can effectively work in the business skills and accounting field because every
business organization need some type of communication skills which helps in attracting the
consumers towards the firm which results in the higher productivity as well as profitability.
Further the accounting environment also require the reading and communication skill and I can
work efficiently through creating healthy working environment in the firm.
Reading skills can be developed through practice and understanding the value of reading. We
can evaluate our reading skills through taking feedback from seniors and mentors.
Time management skills
In college life I legged in time management skills and I never come on time in the classes
because that time I feel not any value of time but After some times, one of my college teacher
explained me the value of time and also said a story to me and after listening the story I have
decided to improve my time management skill and I was managing the not too much good but
better than before(Britton and Tesser, 2016). During my presentation assessment I was improved
the communication skills, reading skills and time management skills but some time I was lacked
in the time management skill but the overall experience with my group is good. In group
presentation assessment the major problem arises in terms lack of time management skills which
result in the conflicts among the all group members.
I have decided after the presentation assessment, to develop my time management skills because
time management is the important factor in each and every individuals' life which helps in
accomplishing task timely. I can develop my time management skills through scheduling each
work of my day to day activities and set the time standard for particular work and also
