Reflection on working in group
Team work is the most important factor that the one should understand as it helps the
person to achieve the collaborative goals. As the critical incident in the group working was there
was not proper delegation of the work (Cohen-Mansfield, 2018). I was the part of that group
activity project which has created the conflict among the team members related to delegation of
the work in the group. By working in the team I have improved my team working skills that
helps me work in the proper manner. This makes me to learn the new things as there were many
members in the group. But by having the incident of improper delegation of work the members
were not working properly.
The Kolb's reflective cycle includes the four elements that is concrete experience,
reflective observation, abstract conceptualization and active experimentation (Qarabash and
et.al., 2019). As working in the group I was not having best experience as the there was the
conflict between the group members. I used t have good observation of the things and from this I
have learned a lot. By working with the group I have improved my communication skills that
helps me have proper communication in my future work. In order to resolve that conflict the
team has decided to have the proper planning. So after many problems the work was divided
properly which helps me to do better in the group project. By having the good participation in the
group work I have increased my creative and analytical skills. As I have provided the better ideas
in order to have the proper delegation of work in the project.
There are some areas that I need to improve on my time- management skills as I was not
able to complete the project before the given deadline. Further, my listening skills were also not
good that used to have negative impact on my work. In order to cope up with this I have to do
more projects that will help me to have the proper management of the time in order to complete
the projects before time. In this group activity there was lots of problems that used to have
negative impact on my researching skills. As the work was not properly divided, so I was not
aware about the topic that I have to so in the project (Galustyan and et.al., 2018). This has also
affected the work and make the project not to be done well. In order to make the project well I
have delegated the work according to the quality of the people that helps me have improvement
in the leadership skills.

There was no proper management of the time as there was no schedule was made in order
to perform the activities. This has affected the group activity and also affected the project which
has impacted the grades (Levizzani and et.al., 2018). In order to work in the team members has
the team-working skills and proper coordination that helps to have proper group activity. The
group must have the leader that helps to manage the proper delegation of work.
Further by using the Gibbs Reflective model it helps me to have the proper description of
the project and evaluate the things in order to complete the project. The project was completed
by having the changes done by the group (Gibb’s Reflective Cycle, 2022). This makes me know
about the use of new things that helps to make the changes in the project. By drawing the
conclusion of the group activity it is seen that it is somehow difficult to work in the team. As
there is dependency of the work if the work is not properly allotted to the team members. I need
to improve some skills for that I needed some resources. The action plan for the development of
the skills is as described below:
