INTRODUCTION
Learning is an essential part of everyone’s day to day life. Each day of life comes up with new
lesson (Aprianto and Purwati, 2020). The module also helps to learn new things in life. The
modules which are taught in the education sector are also essential for the purpose of learning.
They provide several knowledge as well as skills which are needed to grow in the career in
successful manner. This essay contains various skills which are learned from the module and the
way it helps to grow in the career. It has its impact on the performance, behaviour and
experience an individual gets from their life.
MAIN BODY
Development as a learner
There are several skills which are developed with the help of these skills which are needed in an
individual for its future development. Being a learner I also develop several skills such as
effective communication skills, listening skills and professional as well as technical knowledge.
This is developed in several ways. Communication today is very significant both in the business
and in personal life. Successful communication helps us to better understand group and
situations. It helps us prevail over diversities, make trust and respect, and build situation
for sharing creative ideas and solving problems. Effective communication refers to the process of
exchanging information with an understanding of emotions and intentions of the individuals
(Andayani, Zulkarnain and Hadisaputra, 2020). Effective communication not only includes
verbal communication but also include non verbal communication. This module helps in both
verbal as well as non verbal communication.
During the course it includes various tasks which need to be completed with the help of proper
guidance and group discussion which improves communication skills in me. I also face several
challenges in that but later I overcome them and successfully completed my learning. These

taught me to face challenges in life and make me strong to fight challenges during the module.
This not only improves communication skills but also improves Listening skills. Listening skills
are very essential in every phase of life. In order to understand various things in successful
manner it is essential to develop listening skills. Learning the module includes taking of long
classes also which includes listening to teachers in the class somewhere it improves listening
skills in me. Active listening is one of the skill I develop with the help of this module. It helps
me to understand the module in better manner and improve my academic knowledge. Task are
provided in groups in the university which helps me to learn team work. In my career when I will
go out for job or any business it is essential for me to know the importance of team work and
successful management of team. Before I was so weak at my studies as I have lack of listening
skills but my mentors in this course are so interactive that it helps me to develop my listening
skills and this interaction also enhance my fear to face crowd(Arif and Yuhdi, 2020). The speech
which needs to be presented in front of my mates helps me to overcome my stage fear. Wherever
I made any mistake my team mates helps me to improve it instead of laughing on me. This helps
me to learn better in the course.
Approach to future challenges of a University course

There are several challenges which are faced by University courses as it also needs to attract
more and more customers to the courses to reduce cost of operation of the course (Córdoba-
Pachón, 2020). The increasing competition in the education makes it difficult for university
courses operate in global market. To beat this competition they need to provide better courses to
their students. The courses offered to the students should be in accordance with the changing
expectations of the students. In today’s world it is essential to improve various skills which are
very essential for individual for their future development. These skills include communication
skills, team work skills, active listening and many more. In order to enhance and develop all
these skills in the students the university needs to design the courses in such a manner that it
fulfills the needs and expectations of the students. With the increase awareness in the students
regarding the necessary skills in the students university also needs to change their traditional
courses to survive in this competitive market. After Brexit the Universities also faces several
challenges as it also affects the business of universities in UK. It became challenge for
universities to hire right personals for their jobs. It is very essential to recruit individuals in the
university as they are liable to provide quality services and support to their students.
The increasing cost of education in the university also comes as a challenge for them to
operate in the global market. In order to balance the fees and quality of services the management
of universities are in high pressure to provide satisfaction to students that it is worthwhile to
attend university courses. The technology and facilities needs to be enhanced in the university to
enrich each and every student of the university (Mullen, 2020).

CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it is concluded that the module provides for enhancing several skills
in an individual which are essential in academic as well as professional context. It helps to
improve communication skills, listening skills and team work which are essential for me for
future development. This helps to enhance individual performance in every field of their life.
Effective communication skills are necessary in the individual to overcome future challenges
which are faced by individuals during their course of life. It also provides for various approaches
to enhance university courses on the basis of learning of an individual in the competition and
rapidly changing needs of students.
