REFLECTION
The following is the reflection of my own experience which I came across at the time
when I was tied in with working in a group. Our group was made by our teacher as we need to
complete a project which was based on the topic Leadership and Management. The task we need
to make depends on various successful leaders of the world, on their accomplishments and the
authority style utilized by them (Minari and Minoura, 2018). As we were five team members in
the group so we chose to divide the work among one another in order to make the work simpler
and convenient. Different individuals from the group choose their work that they decided to do
and I chose to check the work that the material written in the undertaking is exact or not. If not
than required amendments must be made by me in the project. The rest of the tea members from
group pick different works of the project which were tied in with making and displaying
PowerPoint Presentation of the entire work, one of them chose to pick the significant information
from that of picked by other colleague, one chose to locate the substance important to give that to
other colleague who will at that point take out the most fitting information from that and the last
one chose to lead and deal with crafted by entire colleagues. The task of every one of these

coordination among the group is likewise vital so as to make the venture as effective one. I chose
to do and was actually quite amped up for doing this work as this was my first experience of

duty which will affect exceptionally on the working so it was significant for me to take every
necessary step in great way. Further I put stock in my colleagues yet my work was likewise
somewhat hard as I need to check again the entire work from its unique source and match
whether the data given in the venture is correct or wrong. In the middle of doing this work, I was
truly feeling strained to a level since I felt an excess of weight on me as now the accomplishment
of entire task was upto me. After the completion of this task I felt loose and I additionally felt
that the work was very little simple as I considered it. As from my perspective, in the event that I
would clarify about the sentiment of other colleagues so I should state that two of them were
feeling eager and happy, one was feeling perceptive and the last one was feeling somewhat
anxious and curious. These sort of feelings came into the psyche of my colleagues. Presently

after the fulfilment of entire project we as a whole are feeling better and loose and are content
with the difficult work that we did in the task and made it as a fruitful one.
In the completion of this project, the importance of all the team members is of great
importance. There are different types of communication which are being done during the time of
completing this project (Wang and et. al., 2018). As such the use of oral and written
communication was done in order to make things clear to each other, understand in better way
and to remember what is needed to be done. With the help of oral and written communication, it
has been made possible to make the effective completion of the work in an effective and efficient
manner. In addition to this, with the help of communication skills, it is possible to establish
proper cooperation and coordination in between the team. As the communication skills helped a
lot in explaining about the issues which are being faced by the members of the team in
completing their tasks. As the leader also, this skill helped me a lot in making improvement in
the level of confidence of my colleagues so that it could become possible for the to make the
completion of the work in an effective manner. It become possible for me to make it clear to the
other members of the team with the help of which the completion of the project was needed to be
done. There was a time when teammates were hopeless and they were not understanding with
what they have to do and the progress of the work was also not good. So in order to make their
working goof and strong it was important to further improvement in their motivation and
dedication level with the help of which it could become possible to make them to work again
with full enthusiasm and dedication and with the spirit that they need to accomplish the project in
an effective manner.
Sometimes there were situations in which it was not possible to overcome just because of
occurrence of conflicts in between the team members. So it was important for me to cover up the
situation so that they could work in a coordinated way. With the help of this preference, it has
been possible to make improvement in the overall level of their work and in their nature as well.
Earlier, the situation want out of control as due to conflict they was not even to ready to work
together. In other words, it can be said that the team completely lost their patience, confidence
and coordination with each other. They were not seeing that what will be the impact of their this
reaction on the complete project. So with the help of patience and calmness it has became
possible for me to make all of them collective and to work again with each other in a coordinated

way for the achievement of goals and objectives of the project. However it is not an easy task to
manage different people in the team without having good skills and abilities (Winnicott, 2018).
During the entire of action the best part which I preferred was about the help and
devotion appeared by colleagues. Anyway this is the first run through when we are cooperating
yet this much understanding we had got in a few days to do the entire work in a planned manner
which will build the effectiveness of the work. I preferred this particularly in light of the fact that
it expanded my inspiration level and furthermore improved my devotion towards the work which
I was performing. The most terrible that I saw during the entire venture was poor and ridiculous
booking of the work. This occurred because of absence of coordination which was not in the
group at the underlying phase of playing out the undertaking because of which the deferral in the
work was secured at the last stage by making changes in the method for working. Proper time
has not been separated so as to finish the assignments of the team members which caused delay
and wastefulness in the work. In my commitment towards achieving the goal of this project was
checking the work from everyday and making the necessary changes in the work from my hand.
From this situation I discovered that proper time the board and planning is extremely
fundamental so as to separation and make the finishing of the task in time. The positive
experience of help and commitment appeared by colleagues helped in making the task fruitful
and the negative occasion which was of inappropriate time made absence of time (Yasuda,
MATSUNO and Tani, 2019). It was because of which we sit more than which was required to
finish the work. In future on the chance that I got an opportunity again to do extend in group than
I will definitely oversee and partition my time in various tasks in order to guarantee auspicious
finishing of the entire work. Along with this, I will also make my focus on making improvement
in the level of confidence and coordination and cooperation skills with the help of which it has
become possible for me to make improvement in the overall level of my skills and knowledge.
This will help me in my personal and professional growth and development.
