INTRODUCTION
Reflection refers to an approach or practice which is useful in describing the activities and
efforts of an individual and also consider them regarding the continuous learning for their
development. It is also helpful in analysing the strength points and weak points by which a
person can prominently find ways to enhance and improve their skills. Moreover reflection is
based on the professional and personal skills that should be helpful for individual in order to
enhance and develop their career including the employability and study skills (Kroll and Dussias,
2017). In this context employability criteria is helpful in order to carry forward many skills
including team working communication problem solving time management and so on full stop
moreover to carry forward the reflection Gibbs reflective model is useful that is helpful in
describing feelings and perspective of individual and also describe the skills in which I am weak
and for this personal development plan is prepared in order to enhance and improve those skills.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs reflective cycle
Reflective cycle is useful in encouraging individuals and also includes their self assessment
in terms of reflection in systematic way that tends to enhance their overall performance. In
addition to this it is also helpful in analysing the positive and negative sides of the decision that
are taken by the supervisor and manager. The prominent reflection is done on the grounds of my
skills and performance including my employability skills which are criticized by other people. In
relation with this few prominent steps are discuss of Gibbs model:
Description: It is useful in providing the overall description of the circumstances
considering what the results what is currently happening are and how many members are
involved in the activities (Hill and et. al., 2016). This point is described on the grounds of the
performance and skills that I perform in front of my employees and top authority as both of them
criticized my performance which brings success in my career. In this context it describe my

management and problem solving are the prominent skills that should be present in me to
efficiently deal with the various conditions of company and also changes the behaviour of
employees. In relation with this personally believe that I am better in research time management
and problem solving skills by which I can permanently manage the whole team and other
members and also motivate them ineffective way to work in collective banner for the
achievement of goals and objectives.
Feelings: This section depicts the prominent emotions and feelings of other individuals by
which describe your experience towards my skills. In relation with this the prominent feelings
are generated due to my reactions that are sometimes positive and negative which impact the
performance of my other team Associates (Markham, Gentile and Graham, 2017). Away with
this I as a leader have some weak skills including communication and team working that can
misbalance the coordination and proper cooperation among my team which influences the
performance and leads to demotivate them. The prominent reason behind the delay in
performance is my communication and team working skills and which I am not good as because
of unclear communication I cannot clearly describe the goals and objectives to my team
members that can decrease their performance and moral. Because of this my subordinates feel
bad and disheartened as they cannot perform their job in an effective way.
Evaluation: In relation with this employee describe their overall experience regarding the
business circumstances which is divided under two parts that is either good or bad and which is
enhanced with the help of many questions including what goes well and what did not and what
are the overall contribution of your leader (Meek, 2016). In this context I feel that each and every
employee is not satisfied with my performance as there are various skills in which I am weak and
skills prominently impact the overall performance and productivity of team members. Despite
from this I also have some good skills which is helpful for me in surviving in the critical business
conditions including time management problem solving and Research skills by which I can
prominently organized and arrange my team Associates towards the work and delegate them
work by considering their skills and knowledge and also leads to decrease conflict in confusion
among them by providing proper motivation. Therefore conflict can become major risk for the
development of team performance and it arises because of the lack of communication and
transparency among the team members as they cannot properly and clearly communicate
regarding the goals and objectives.

Analysis: This step is also termed as the self assessment as it provide prominent chance to
develop sense regarding what is happening within the nearby circumstances and events.
Moreover it also includes prominent questions regarding my knowledge and skills which
describe proper sense of activity (Sangster, 2017). In this context to get work done with my
subordinates at the beginning I need to provide them prominent chance to analyze their strength
and weaknesses. By considering my perspective regarding experience describe that I am good in
problem solving Team Management Research and also weak in team working and
communication skills by which I cannot properly cope up with my strength and should work on
it to develop for the betterment of my career and other team Associates as well. Because of my
weak skills the productivity of employees and performance also get a negative manner that leads
to develop negativity in their mind. In addition to this to make things clear in effective way I
need to adopt Tuckman or Belbin team role theory which is helpful for me in assigning task to
my subordinates by considering their strength and weaknesses as well.
Conclusion: This section is useful as it provide conclusion concerning the various things
which happen within the event and project and also provide prominent justification to enhance
the future result (Ahmed and Ward, 2016). In this context I should summaries my learning and
skills in relation with highlighting the significant changes which I want in my personality.
Despite from this bi concerning my prominent skills it is analyzed that time management and
problem solving skills can become opportunity for me that leads to bring hike in my overall
performance and helps in organizing my team in effective way. Along with this it is also useful
in developing various skills including communication and team working in which I am weak and
need prominent enhancement in order to take feedbacks from top level authority and also take
participate in the seminars to enhance my skills.
Action Plan: It described that I should develop my skills in more effective way to survive
within the future conditions (McMillan, McConnell and O’Sullivan, 2016). In this context, I
analyzed that for the upcoming time, when I work in a team I need to enhance my
communication and team working skills in order to provide clear understanding to other team
associates in order to develop healthy coordination and cooperation among them. For this,
prominent plan is developed with suitable standards that are helpful in developing my skills for
the betterment of my career.
